Depends what you mean by "drift", do you mean oversteer ?

Sometimes it can be Aquaplaning, sometimes it can be too much speed overcoming the grip of the tyres.

Sometimes simply upgrading your tyres can make the difference.

By drifting do you mean.. letting go of the wheel and seeing if the car starts drifting right/left?

its a bouncy drifty feeling and steering column feel tight to left side. car generally goes straight on back streets and main roads, but feels weird on freeways.

Get new tyres, rims, coilovers .. that will solve your problem ...

OR you can just get an alignment done for $66 incl. GST. THat will more than likely solve your problem, or allude you to what the problem may be !

Sounds like worn / crap tyres combined with an alignment problem mate

...is ur ride stock? cause roaring out of the freeway entry i tended to 'float' and 'bounce' around alot - then i got lowered suspension :D

- a front strut bar does wonders

- as does a rear sway bay

budget for these two items and u should be right - then again, when was the last time ur car got serviced, wheels and all?

A car that is *stock should not float .. just do the alignment mate

Could be the tyres. Not the first time that I've heard of tyres causing this type of thing. Could also be the camber of the highway as well.
