hi just wounding if any one nos if the 3sgte bolts up to the 2zzge box and if not how hard do you think it would be to do the hole modifation of new box and engine cheers jas

if you want to put a 3SGTE into your corolla for it to be a road car forget about it... the engine either has to be new or from a car or equil or lesser age, and for that you are looking at a Gen 4 3SGTE out of a Caldina. Firstly, good luck finding one and secondly they cost a pretty penny when you do find one too due to the demand.

the 3sgte doesn't bolt up to the 2ZZ box, I dont think the swap would be that hard to make a 3sgte FWD ZZE corolla.

You would use a caldina motor, SW20 turbo LSD box with FWD E series linkages, GTZ driveshafts and some custom mounts.

Convert the fuel system to a return style, use a powerfc to make the wiring easier if you want. Caldina cuts aren't THAT hard to come by if you have the money, you just buy a full car in japan and wreck it. The cut will be in the $7K range though.
