Switching stock 2003 tail lights with custom tail lights currently installed on a late 05 stivo

Recommended Posts

I’m sure i saw a topic on this somewhere a while ago but I’m unable to find it again, so please don’t go skits on me if it exists

just quickly if i wanted to switch stock 03 taillights with custom lights currently installed on a 05 stivo - i know there’s some difference on the back of the light - but is it doable? - What kind of modifying, if any would you need to do?

no difference in shape is there? if theres a wiring problem just go to a local autoelectrician.

should take 20-30 minutes to install and it wouldnt cost more than 35-45 bucks for their time and you shouldnt have another problem coz it should have been done right the first time

btw u got pics of these custom tailights?

PM Northy or Silvabullit Ryan.

Northy is sporting 05 spec tail lights in his pre facelift sportivo which he and Silva installed.

silva passed the tools hehe, the only diff is the plugs on the back of the tail lights, as i did a swap with a facelift corolla i just cut the plugs off and joined them up to the existing loom. When i did this all the wires were diff colours but all the colours matched up from car to car, ie red + back - red/black was the earth etc. If you have anymore issues let me knwo.
