Welcome to the Forum daonlyhata, to my knowledge...

Sportivo Brakes:

Front

275mm Ventilated discs with two piston calipers

Rear

279mm Ventilated discs with single piston calipers

Cheers ;)

They are solid discs at the back. 1zz: 2 pot front calippers? are you sure dude, that sounds a little exotic for a 30k car, although i must say they are great brakes.

GREAT BRAKES????

My front discs are usually warped after 6,000K's, and it is not from being stupid high speed stops, just city-punting.....at pace.

Oh, BTW, just had the 30k service, (and after the mechanic originally told me the Stivos had a harder fromt pad, hence the disc warp) they tell me i have 5to10,000 left on the pads!! I believe a firm pad should do 60,000+ km.

Pecker, keep us posted as to a direct Toyota replacement, as I'm dead keen.

I recentley priced an AP setup, but at 3.5K for the job, is a bit pricey :o

I'm pretty certain the fronts are twin piston - Those spec's I've quoted are from MOTOR...sometimes they can get it wrong
