Is it worth the expense & effort to get a roadworthy?

This 1973 Celica has been in the family since new.

It has had a complete engine rebuild and has been re-sprayed.

For the last 10 years, it has been on blocks, with a cover and in a garage.

It looks great, but needs some work to pass a roadworthy.

Is it worth it?

How much is reasonable to spend to get that roadworthy?

Depends how much rust is on the raw shell. Rust in the bodywork can be patched up but in the Chassis structure you have more of an issue as it will weaken the overall structure and is costly to get fixed properly.

If the car is reasonably clean I say go for it!!!

and Tom a 1973 would be a TA22

There is no rust in the chassis structure and minimal rust in the bodywork.

Yes, it is a TA22
