5 lug conversion

is it possible to convert the 4 lug 05' Runx z to a 5 lug set up ?

i was thinking the hub from the celica could be used or are there aftermarket parts for this conversion.

US Corolla's use 5 lug hubs. May be possible to source the parts from there, As far as I know, suspension set up is the same.

ok might just have to look into that, in terms of the suspension, they r alike ???

Let me know how you go. I was thinking something simular cuz all the wheels I want are in 5 stud. The 4 stud range has diminished especially in anything over 17 inch.

for the fronts the Celica hub may fit

not sure about the rears though as they have an IRS set up for the suspension

it's an expensive thing to do just for a set of wheels though.

celica hubs fit easy but its also illegal on the street as far as i am aware...

It's not illegal as lost of older cars do it, but it needs to be engineered, and that adds a lot more $$$

a friend of mine has the new gen. celica so we r planning to try them out hopehully this wknd, i'll let u all know how it goes down.

as for leagality, in jamaica u can cut ur springs for u care and neva get harrased for it by the authorities.

celica's hub will fit, you just need the centre bit and new bearing
