where are you guys in sydney heading to for new years eve, ill convince my friends not to go to the city because you cant even see the fireworks anyway from to manyy people...

theres a nice park in watsons bay..........u can see the whole city is real high.........and heaps easier to park there....the park where 'the gap' is. i would go there instead of the city.................city would be way hectic.

go to city and get blind all day in pubs have a good lunch and then hit the fireworks, there will be alot of ppl but who cares u will love it!!!!

its called christerson park. dont bother going there unless you get there early in the day (i.e. 10:00 - 11:00 am), it gets too packed.

The lebos in Telopea St Punchbowl let off a whole heap of fireworks (goes for about 10-15 mins) in the street every new year.

Bloody awesome, the fireworks look huge cos you're only standing about 10m away from them. :D

Been going their for the last 3 years cos i live local.
