Hi

Would anyone know the lowdown on removing the trim panels on a 96 Corolla Seca to gain full access to the hood lining as it needs to be replaced or repaired.

Thankyou

Appreciated Gunjack

Hey Tayles,

Just a question, how much of a hassel was it??

I'm thinking of covering the roof with some sound insulation possibly soon thats why.

Well we were pretty much dismantling the car for parts and it is virtually one of the last things we pulled out of the cabin... Think of it as the carpet on the ceiling. Take a look around the interior and notice that every other bit of trim is fitted over the top of the hood lining (seat belt trims etc). Also the interior lights and other things which are part of it are quite annoying, the wires for the lights are glued to the roof so be careful not to tug too hard (LOL) when you're taking the lining out.

And I'm only speaking from experience in taking it out, I'd hate to have to put it back in properly

I'm no proffessional though so... :whistling:

Oh and try not to break any of the little clips, Toyota will bend you over in terms of price
