Putting my stockies on with the hub rings still on = [fail] and; mass wheel wobble on the way to winton track day. if this wasnt rectified at the servo on the way there might have been game over for my zre. Kudos to kenshinx who brought a jack and helped me rectify it. I didnt think that putting ur wheels and nuts on properly made such a difference. And the star pattern tightening can be the difference between smooth ride and wobbly ride.. or worse case.. wheels falling off. ekkk! Lesson has been learnt.

I ordered mine from scratch too. Think i waited a month to 2months for it. Levin ZR 2008 Graphite 6spd Manual but no sunroof. I tracked it from japan to shipping to australia to my dealer. I think Dwee made a point with any 'new' corollas coming out early 2011. Late 2011-12 should be expected for a change. Another member here waited 3months for his Levin ZR built from scratch White 2008 6spd Manual with sunroof. Maybe its the color? I dont know. The Kappas wouldnt be so bad as a 'deal sweetener'. I think they're around the 1k mark for the rims only for 17s. The kappas are good because they add a 'sportier' look without going too overboard and they are Genuine toyota rims. Sometimes i wished i had kappas but sometimes i wished i had Black 18" TE37s with 35+ offset. Its all about the look you're trying to achieve and go for i guess. And regards to buying another car/make thats entirely up to you. If your experience with toyota/corolla/dealerships in the past havn't impressed you then and your not happy with it then you can try another make/model. Toyotas have been in the family for a long time and my 1st car was a toyota celica and i've just stuck with them. For relative economy, availability of parts and service and reliability of the cars itself. Good luck in your decision whatever you choose to do. John PS: hope you go with Toyota :)

With a highflowed gt25 ihi turbo on a 2001 sportivo.. 2.5catback system with TRD muffler (custom 3inch dump) / custom manifold. sard fuel regulator , k&n flat panel. turbosmart t piece boost controller / garrett boost gauge, standard ecu mapping. standard fmic (toms tuned) (number 38 of 110 2001 sportivo turbo). Didnt change the profile of the standard turbo ..but highflowed it as big as a gt28 catridge! Hoping for at least 180kw (if it throws a rod.. the 5agte build will have to start a bit sooner!) ------------------------------------- I doubt your car will get anywhere near 180kw atw. Your stock engine is a 7A, not a 5A. 180kw @ the wheels or @ the flywheel ? in both circumstances though i would have to agree with Jason aka Cha54 ..... i dont think u would b able to get the 7A with that turbo up to that much power. bah typo.. i meant to say 7afte hehe. yeah i know its got no forged pistons..but it handles 150kw fine. im sure another 30 aint exactly that hard. - if it blows it blows big deal - just shows its limits. hehe besides its nothing anyway.. the stagea is lucky to be on 230kw on 12psi.. you guys are such a bunch of negative ******wits and jokers and this forum sucks ****.. you dont help each other all you do is throw ego's around. I am on Royal Purple after my first 10000km service, my car is now 12xxxkm.. To tell you the truth, my feeling is so bad that I cannot feel a difference after running royal purple, I cannot even feel any difference after installing cat back system... I can only feel a SLIGHT difference after installing CAI Many people thinks after they change royal purple will improve performace, there might be slight, but I can hardly feel it, I think people tend to push their gas pedals more after changing to Royal purple, same as CAI, so people thinks their car has increased performance...There is some illusion there. Like after I change my CAI, i got 5-8KW increase, but that is just equivalent to 108KW, which is the same as Mazada 3, what can you expect from the 108KW engine, but our mind set thinks it is running like a performance car... My conclusion is, you can try different brands, but I doubt you can hardly feel it, unless proven by dyno...Many often, our mind just confuse us that after changing something, our car will be faster yeah of course there wouldnt be an incredible increase in performance.. its no 2ZZ engine, theres no powerband or turbo/SC. But definitely with each mod you have improved it over stock. I know my trd muffler is way less restrictive than my stock one, lowered springs better handling, injen cai increases torque around mid range and using an aftermarket engine oil will help protect engine life when a few of us often push our cars a bit. you may not notice it, but trust me, every little bit you do helps. And dont think about it like its just 108kw.. that dont mean sh!t. we didnt buy our ZREs for performance. Why didnt they make ZRE sportivos? sigh I'm gonna dyno my car sometime soon.. i'll let you know the figures.. and seriously.. im hoping for 80kw with what i've got. thats at the wheels. :)
