Yeah true. A lot of the times the only gear that feels great being in.. is 1st. The 6th gear is really quite hopeless unless your on the highway and you want to cruize it.

I was driving in the workvan today and spotted a silver celica on the side of the road, the 2001 and up model in ZR. What gripped me was it had the VVTLi sticker on its side. Is this true? The celica ZR has VVTL-i?? Man if it does, im shattered.. I thought about upgrading my old 93 celica SX to the newer one but heard they weren't that great so i opted for my corolla. Its too late now, but if only.. and if only they had a sportivo range and VVTLi in the ZRE models.. DAMN!

Worked in geelong yesterday. On way home about 4pm.. spotted a parked black ZRE with 17" 5spoke rims, lowered 35mm front & 40mm back, short stubby antenna and a TTE front lip. I think he might be on this forum...

Not a bad little add-on. But i think it'll make the centre console too chunky and big. I mean, how much heigh & space does one need? And i love the pics with the dude shifting while resting his arm... pure lazyness. <_<

I also know a guy whos friends with the dude with the nos bottle slung on his shoulder, his name is Brian. And he's got 2 MASSIVE bottles in his GTR R34. Lol How about having NOS and using it for its purging effects? (like fast & furious) For some wicked camera shots and added coolness. Is that illegal too? If not, seriously, just start pouring premium petrol. (if you already do, get a setup for jetfuel and add some wings)

Hey guys,sorry bout now pitching in. Didnt know this was on here. Been speaking to shinobi a lot about it though. Sounds very good. As for under Bolte Bridge; excellent location. Day or night. I've been there before, and it gets crowded at night, with the likes of S15, WRX, Supra, Skyline and that. But everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Dont know about 10 rollas cruising in, but during the day.. i think we'll own it. Hope to meet everyone there, take care till then. Johnnieboi

I once had it lowered to the max, had the killer look but a lil too bumpy. I've now raised it to the height in the picture, and the ride is a lot better now... dang. thats tough

'Edge'.. pffftt. Before i got my corolla, i was playing up with getting a yaris admist rumors of a TRD spec/turbo variant of the yaris. The thought of a forced induced 1.5VVTi sounded so good. But there was no such. I asked if there was a 2008 model Sportivo Corollal, but there wasnt that either. So the Levin ZR i ended up with. Come out with a TRD sport model Corolla, or a turbo version. Toyota would then jump the ladder a couple clicks.

So shattered i wasnt there! Arrgghhh..

Something happened to me recently and i thought i just like to share my story. While waitingn at the entry of the freeway, the low growl and blue tinge headlights of something sporty rolled up behind me. I didnt think much of it but the ice blue hue of his HID's were somewhat alluring. I was playing up in my mind what ride he had, it didnt matter i guess. I took off slowly as i normally do, hit second gear and heard the roar of the driver behind me as he was rushing up real quick. He was gunning it closer and closer and i anticipated that he wanted to get by fast to overtake me. I thought, what the hell, gunned it in 3rd and 4th, revving way past my usual grandma shifting. That familiar roar zoomed past my left side and i caught his rear as we entered the freeway. That rear end that i've seen too many times, 'Corolla', and the stand out words in red - 'Sportivo'. Hats off, i got owned, he knew it, i knew it. I sped up within the limit catching him glancing back at me. After a few glances i gave him a friendly thumbs up and a couple of nods to make sure he saw it. He smiled back and we went our different ways. Respect is given where it is due.
