Has anyone done any research on the cost to turbo or supercharge their sportivo? Im expecting turbocharged would be cheaper, because i always hear supercharging is more expensive somewhat.

Yeah it would be good to promote how good the Corolla can look with a few mods. There should be alot of Corolla owners, afterall, the car did top the September sales figure didn't it hehe.

Hehe i actually wont mind, only if someone gives me a ride in their sportivo! :) I live about 10minutes away from the place anyway. And its day light savings, so it won't get dark until 8ish. So a meet up at 7 gives a good opportunity for photos.

Actually, there has been some argument that letting your car idle at start up for a while is worst then just driving off slowly where you would allow the engine to warm up quicker and also the transmission. Because if you just sit there idling, it won't warm up the transmission, just engine components. Id like to idle for about 30 secs then drive off slowly, shifting at lower rpms than usual, then once temps are good, drive normally.

I was driving my brother's WRX that night. As for another meet up, depending if there are alot of uni students here, exam period won't finish until after late november. So it could restrict the turn out amount. Anyway, everyone have a say on what day you would prefer to meet up? Thursday, Friday, or Saturday nights? Thursday would seem a good night to just catch up and chit chat, but not cruise anywhere since its a weekday still, and that nothing going on. Friday & Saturdays are good for catch up and also cruise about since those two days are "going out" days, and there should be things to do until late. Sonny seems to be up for any cruise, any cruise idea seems good to him. Id never seen anyone so excited for any sort of cruise lol :)

Ahhh damn, which cars was yours? I was a bit hesitant to ask the sportivo owners because i didn't really want to interupt any discussion going on and stuff with fellow members. Also guys, do the 03-04 prefacelift sportivo models have tape + cd on their stock decks?? Because black-rolla's prefacelift sportvio had tape & cd on his stock deck. I noticed evl_50a's 05 sportivo only had a stock CD deck.

Only about 7-9 rollas rocked up, but was a good meet. A chance to meet fellow forum members. At least i know which faces are behind some of the screen names on this forum, i guess easier to catch up with in future meets. I reckon the monthly meetup will start to build up eventually. Well at the moment the Sydney Cross City Tunnel is giving free entry, so it would be sweet to see 20 Corollas in the tunnel. Then flash flash tons of pictures to see :) I love tunnel shots.

It should only cost about $120ish for a pair of springs so about $240 in total, and fitting should take about one 1/2 hr. Installation should cost about $100-140.

Cool a monthly meet up would be great, because i want to turn up and check out the Sportivos. I don't own one yet so yeah, would be great to see it in flesh. I can turn up anyway right, even though i drive a WRX/Excel? Hopefully someone would give me the chance to sit in passenger seat while they hit Lift all the way :) Im starting to forgot how it felt like now =/

HOLY DAMN that Ignition X Corolla is the funkiest Corolla i have seen. Nice strips and body kit. I also like that rear tail lamps, looks good on white cars, wow. Crap lighting in that car park, can't see the cars clearly enough.
