Yeah how wierd, its an auto? Surely they will be offering a manual version? But yeah the interior is quite nice. I reckon the USB port is to allow you to link to your laptop and fine tune the ECU or something if you modding the car :D

I checked how much full insurance would cost if i got a sportivo and it were to be under my dad's name, would cost about $850 if i remembered, got quotes from AAMI and NRMA. Damn living in Sydney is expensive. Im only 19 so yeah just going to have to live with paying excess if i crash.

Just get King springs then get KYB or Koni shocks to match them :) Low firm ride with great handling!

Have anyone saw the specs on a VW Golf 2ltr TDI Man huge torque i swear, but on diesel. 103kw @ 4000 320nm @ 1750-2500!!!! Would be like driving a V6 or something, smoooooth pull. Im just been understanding how important torque is now. Before i thought it was all kW power, tsk tsk hehehe.

I was driving my bro's WRX today, man there is bugger response if u step down on the peddle if ur just driving at 2000rpm. Talk about lag. Lacks the low-down torque a little. Then you have to wait till it reaches 3000 rpm and vrooooooom :)

Can you tell us what exactly happened? Im confused, you owe the Audi guy $$$ but your REAR bumper is damaged? All i can think of is that you reversed into him hard in a car park or something?

By telling us this, there is now going to be a crime wave. SMH: Latest News! There has been a few reports in the past few weeks with people pinching antennas off Honda CRVs. People are not sure why but the police are investigating.

SYD: I spotted 2 different black 05 sportivos around cabramatta lately. I saw a white one today in the park lot. I walked extra slow when seeing them around so i can check out how cool it looks hehe.

I think once the empy fuel light comes on, it shows you got approximately 5ltres left in the tank. So that should get you around for the next 40-60km depending on driving style.

Toyota Australia will ship in a few hundred Sportivos after the the end of production date of 31st October. So im guessing there should still be good supplies until next year? I hope this doesn't hurt the bargaining end where the Dealer might say "nah can't do it at that price since there isn't much of it etc etc".

If you guys can only take pics of the damage. Anyway, can probably be repaired at places where they do retrims for interiors of cars. One of my ideas when i get a Sportivo is try to go to those places and tell em to retrim the front seats to give more thigh support, seats are too flat.

I hope to be a Corolla owner soon, well the Sportivo anyway that is. Im just joining into discussions and gaining knowledge so i can get ready with things once i own the Sportivo :)

Sportivo owners, have your leather seats starting to wear out and crack or dried up? After how many km? Any pictures to show the condition of the seats?

Hmmmm a mid yr 06 CorollaSportivo release. Now thats interesting, new engine, body shape and interior?? Makes me want to hold onto buying a new 05 Sportivo. If we could only see some sort of prototype. Or unless its just the current Corolla look in japan that will be imported here, pretty much the same anyway then. But hey, if Toyota will be eager to sell off the Sportivo, then i may end up grabbing a bargain at the end of the year when im looking to get one ^.^
