  1. i dont think it has any thing to do with the cars on the road or what safety rateing they do or dont have, do u think if your in a potentially life ending accident your going to be any safer in that brand new clubsport than you are in the hq? i dont think so, plus when was the last time u saw a hq on the road any way? i think firstly it comes down to the driver and what he's driveing habits are, and we all know humans are not good and following simple rules (especially under 25s). there for the answer is harsher penalties no tolarance on hooning and bad driveing. no fines just severe action taken, loss of car, loss of licence, jailtime etc.
  2. Umm like a month or two ago maybe/ and what does it matter to you mate What if I don't do anything besides planning in months to a year? What is with people like you, keep it to your self if you have nothing worth talking about! Think before you post dude, honestly what are you trying to achieve? Sorry but I can't deal when people act like this, being friendly and positive doesn't hurt. Whats it to me ? Nothing at all actually. I was just amused to see that the modification bug has bitten hard enough to convince you that your warranty is now worthless. Anyway, I appreciate the emo rant. You guys bite pretty hard around here huh ? thats gold
  3. ^x2 let me put this question out there do u think the australian govermant wants to stop speeding? the answer is no. at the end of the day it all comes down to $$$$$$ just like every thing else in this world, the goverment makes money off u when u break the law.and the trade off is some runs the risk of dieing. if theres one thing history has shown us time and time again it is $$$$$$ seems to be more inportant than a human life.

This sounds like a challenge :P do the same thing, except put the chicken wraps in the ultimate triple whopper which we call, the super mega ultimate death burger then you would take 1, just 1 bite out of it, and die on the floor Here is a question for everyone, has anyone ever ordered a 'pounder'? you know how there is quarter-pounders? Well, has anyone ever done it? I have always wondered... Evo mick.wheelz nice creation, evo ive ordered a pounder from macca's, its one of those things u only try once. being a chef my self i judge dishes on layers/contasting of flavours and contrasting textures etc, so u can see how a pounder would more like a chore for me to eat. allso has any one been to this chane of steak houses called ribs and rumps? they have a steak there called the man of war, its a 1kg rump steak surved with chips, i ordered one just for fun and actually finished it, though i felt very dizzy and my jaw was hurting for a couple days after.

  10. correct me if im wrong but isent it illegal to put full racing buckets in any car with rear seating any way?
  11. i wouldnt say blow-by is excessive on the 1zz, but a catch can is still a good idea. i opened her up the other day to find a thick layer of build up in it (about 15000kms worth), and i know id rather have that in the can than in my manifold. allso note i had to make my own baffleing for the can as this one had'nt come with any. when it comes to the front ends, the facelift and pre-facelift are prity much the same, thought every bar is different in there dementions and will require different fitting, what you might have to do to get your bar fitted, wont necaseraly work for a different style of bar and vice versa. i had the option of cutting into my bar but chose not to, as i would of had to cut way to much out. as u said jj i would never recomend any one drive around with no reinforcement, as its the only line of protection against a collision and your motor, not to mention if your insurance company finds out your not covered. as for the bolt in bar i will be making, as long as its enginer approved u wont have a problem, and im sure i can make it as strong if not better than the factory one.
  12. i can only assume u mean the blue hoses?, they are oil breather hoses. allso anote to any one wanting to install this carmate bar on there own cars, the factory reinforcement cant be used with the bar. witch is highly illegel, what i am planning to do is make up a custom steel/alloy bolt in bar for the front (similier to what a strut brace looks like) that will bolt into the factory mounts, might even make it a 3 link (3rd link being the radiator support)
  13. good luck to FC PORTO in the champions leage quarter finals to be played in a few hours

  18. Ahh, which Type R is that? The Civic Type R? They're directly imported from Britain, where they are made. All Civic Type R hatchbacks are the same, there is no "JDM" Type R hatch, and the reason we didn't get them sooner is because of the cost of importing them from the UK wasn't viable. The Civic does have slightly different chassis between the sedan and the hatch, but that's not uncommon these days (Corolla/Auris anyone?). Yes, the Civic Type R sedan is Japan-only, but everywhere else in the world misses out on it too. At least this time we're actually getting a Type R, not a re-badged Type S like the DC5 And you've got it the wrong way around, the Civic hatch isn't based off the Jazz platform (although the rear suspension is), and allegedly the new Jazz will be based off the Civic hatch chassis (which won't be for a while considering a new one has just come out) yes i should of stated that i was talking about the the civic type R, from what i can make out theres 2 makes of the car. 1 jdm make only sold in japan, and the one made and imported from the uk that every one else gets based on the honda jazz floorpan.
  19. Not really, the numbers that get imported would probably be significantly less than Nissan would bring in themselves, yet I'd guarantee that every single one of them would sell if Nissan decided to sell them off the showroom floor, no matter what the numbers (within reason). The fact that people are importing them should be evidence to Nissan that there is a demand for them over here, and that putting them on sale as a niche model would cost them very little but benefit them a lot, both money-wise and reputation-wise. Australia has always been one of the biggest markets for Japanese sports cars outside of Japan, unfortunately we've had to get most of the good ones via grey import, would be good if the car companies could wake up to themselves and see the potential. i dont really understand why we have been neglected for years by japanese car makers, all we ever get are watered down bombs. one small e.g japan gets gtir we get pulser sss etc, etc even the new honda type R isent even based on the correct floorpan as japanese ones, the ones we get are just moked up off honda jazz floorpans what a joke!!!
  20. to answer whitestivos question a V-spec modal is already out in japan, its available in oz as a grey import, thats if u want to fork out $270000 thats before its even landed. V-spec boasts stiffer suspension, nismo wheels, carbon wing and spoiler, is 130kgs lighter and has 16% more power at 410kws plus u get a shiny V-spec badge.........
  21. my opinion is your fuel pumps on its last legs, seen this happen plenty of times before. where some ones run it on empty cloged there filter, replaced it only to have there pump die days later its prity common.
