  1. [i can we hijack this thread and turn it into a renault 5 one...........
  2. yeah big mother locks on your wheels, 1st offence (street racing) cars locked down for 3 months, 2nd offence guess another 3 months etc etc, there also thinking bout crushing to replace the repo rule
  3. any one hear bout the clamping rule in sydneys inner west (qoute channel 10 news)
  4. lol the renault 5, aka the uk civic. dont forget the trd badge hun, positioned correctly it can give as much 20horsepower at the wheels
  5. It would be very hard to find 300kg to remove, it might be possible, but don't expect the car to be street legal TRD SPORTIVO: Where are you located? i cant see u pulling out 300kgs lol, even if u were to change every panel to carbon or fg use plexi for windows i cant see u getting close to shaving 300kgs off the car. on the subject ive replaced my alloy rim to a light space saver (saving of about 10kgs) and felt a bit of better accelaration though the rear end feels all over the place now very unstable
  6. lol good luck with that one, if u smoke maybe u should give that up i think it would be easier
  7. nice car wasnt sure what the black eyelids would look like with black bonnet but turned out good,a real carbon bonnet would of been great, the vinyl is very ricey. i know carbon parts are a pain for the street as one accident will rite the thing off and there goes $1000
  8. nice purchase looks like a 87 version of bks car
  9. nice ride i like seeing cars done up with a bit of thought, all the mods complement each other. those hids look like they would give u cancer.... how about a list of mods?
  10. bit of my ink needs to be finished shading etc
  11. great work there MyRomeo, nice to see u put some thought into your sytem, nice sleeper style . also would like to see some dyno results good luck and be carefull
  12. Here's the answer to the last part of your post... Parents car = too bad. If your parents are nice enough that they don't kick you out or demand a new car from you, then lucky you. Company car = you owe the company a new car, or at least the remainder of the applicable lease plus the residual value. Finance = not the finance company's problem. You must continue paying the car off... As for the guy in the blue mountains, I see your point about not stopping the kid. But how many parents own a GTR etc, let alone would let their kid drive it after he just wrote his own machine off? I have no doubt this guy would still have been an idiot anyway... but would a 'normal' person have killed themselves and their passenger if they were forced to drive a 1989 camry instead? I wager not. Furthermore, if a normal person had been caught, charged (and had restrictions imposesed on them), and had their car repossessed - eg. been made an example of the first time around - do you think they would have a slightly different attitude behind the wheel than if they had simply got away with writing it off? x2 i agree with leroy on this, zero tolarence is the best bet to stop hooning/speeding no matter your circumstances. if u fall into the group above bad luck. as for driveing a camry id bet he would killed him self any way, its not the car its the driver
  13. x2 x2 very nice care dude lots of work put in best of luck with the mr2 they fun cars ps. can u remove that toyota badge its an eyesore
  14. any one know if its ok to use contact cleaner that has film protection or will this affect the sencore
  15. cool picks, some one want to start a crashed car thread?
  16. it doesnt look that bad, but plastic parts are harder to repair than u think, cause once u start sanding them they expand and look like poo, plus repairer will charge u more cause they have to spend more hours making it look like new. its much more easy to just replace the bar and youll save money. this all depends on how bad it is, if its not to bad u can heat it up and push it out
  17. i think superdave makes some good points, i dont think crushing some ones car is that harsh, if u look at some countries laws (islamic law states if your caught steeling the hand u used for that crime shall be cut off) i think crushing some ones car do be a small price to pay, at the chance of saving some ones life. allso indefinite licance suspension is a good idea 0 tolarance for people caught street racing, with chance of a reveiw
  18. i dont know if i could ever pass a law like that, knowing the pain you would feal seeing your car crushed. on the other hand if its stops st racing then go for it, lessons are some times best lurnt the hard way
  19. djkor theres nothing wrong with argumants its healthy, some times its the only way to get some one to say what they are really thinking, with out it we would all go insane peace jase
  20. mate its called constructive critasisim its what we do in the real world, do u live under a rock or some thing where there is no evil in the world or some thing? or do just put on a show for every one about him being a P plater i understand that but you have to pick your mods with a bit more class dont rice your car up its not cool, and about me be undersatnding i gave him my thoughts on the GT stripes and on the subject of respect, i respect leaders like xoom people in scene that deserve respect, not rice boys
  21. dude u can follow him if u want, 2 bum chums with GT racing stripes. i wouldnt call rice an innovation or a style of modifying. jase when u going to grow some balls and tell us what your really thinking, instead of sitting on the fence all the time. in my opinion i dont mind the GT stripes, done rite and on a modified rolla it can be made to look good, but on a stock rolla with hubcaps your going to look like a joke.
  22. your correct in saying those rollas are tough, every thing Ascendant justice car is not. this is just like the time he put that trd badge on his car times a hundred.......but i wont go there
  23. that cant be good for eardrums.....
