hmm i dont get how it works if it connects to your obd2 port... as many know the obd2 is your bus network where all your modules talk to eachother... Engine Control Module, Body Control Module, Elecctronic Brake Control Module etcetc.... Does this obd2 volvo thingi flash the ecu or something can someone buy this and try it please/??? lol

i havnt driven the aurion, but r8 VE 08 yes, and as you's say yes the torque is pretty cool, not to mention the pull u get in your seat, and ud expect the passenger to say wow that put me in my seat but not the driver cause he expects it, well the driver feels it too and i had tonnes of adrenalin afterwords... as we say at my work cause of an apprentices number plates, POW-EE !!

05 stivo driver side outer cv leaking, first noticed a week ogo, slight grease inside wheel area, its a weekend car, only do about 100km a week if that, your thoughts if i should just replace the boot and repack it with fresh grease, or get a reco shaft ? will it cost more since its driver side it being longer? also estimate on reco?? also for the stivo owners out there, how is your car going anyways? are you's happy with it as i am with mine? my friends love lift, the gf still doesnt know what it is but she knows the sound lol

there is a clip but you dont touch it, its on the splines, when u pry it off you will see it, its what holds the shaft into the box

i like it how i have to use the remote, means any tool using a screwdriver in my door lock my alarm goes off.. okay back to topic with kill switches, i agree, no point having one, i install kill switches in the commo fuel pump circuit, its a pretty flashy kill switch, its a button u press, and kinda activates a relay for a delayed time, rather than holding a button or flicking a switch.. cars are geting harder to steal anyways with immobilisers and stuff btw, the guy who installed my alarm did a flash job, i said i want the loudest siren and stick in under the dash, so if it goes off it deathens the theif, he said not allowed :( there is a dB limit :(

i got an alarm that uses my factory key, PROBLEM IS you have to use the remote to unlock, if you use the key the alarm thinks you are a screwdriver opening the drivers door...

spoke to a tech at toyota, he says he doesnt replace the whole tentioner he does just the pulley as mentioned in that matrix xrs thread... i will be trying to get an ACDELCO pulley part number #88916640 ... shall see how we go aye...

the way i check bearings is i take the load of the wheel, spin it up and place my hand on the spring of the mcpherson strut, if you feel nothing its fine, if u feel vibration/grinding then bearing is gone.. not knowing much about the suspension of the stivo, i know the astra's have a techline about a rear creak.. its where the rear axle bolts to the chassis, its that bush thats been revised as a new part... dunno if that points you to any new direction... is the car lowered or anything???
