About oil in filters, I didn't feel any oil on the pod when I was reinstalling it.

Dutchie, my car is '09 ZRE..so yeah, not just '08 ZREs! What was weird today was, when I going back to Tom's house after the recon run, the 'check engine' light went off (700kms). Opened the hood, found out the line for the "excess fumes from the engine" to intake (according to Charlie) was out of its place.. Since I had to re-position my foglight wires (ballast & wires) and put on the hydroshield, decided to reinstalled it again. Fine so far. In regards to MAF position, I think it's the right position. But to be sure, maybe someone with stock intake can please take a photo of theirs? :) Peter.

Yeah, want to lower her more. Stuff the water... same.. as wy know my pod is like on the foglight lol and i have had no problems in the rain. just dotn go driving itno large puddles and rivers :) Hahaha maybe we are Andy, but it's just a little precaution. :D Btw, we live in Melbourne. It could be hot 43 degrees one second, then thunderstorms and mass flooding the next..

should sit right about where the foggies is. Yep, it sits right in the gap between the wheel arch and the foglights.

Thanks to Thomas and Johnnie for the help & teamwork. As Johnnie mentioned in the "INJEN CAI Installed" thread, we have temporary taped up any holes in the foglight compartment (including taping up the wheel arch) to avoid the intrusion of water as much as possible until the Injen HydroShield comes. :) Here are just a few snaps, excuse for the crappy camera phone quality. Well done mate! Couldn't wait huh?! :D In regards with the maf sensor, you may be right with the oil from the filter or as someone else said, it could be just the ecu not coping with the sudden change of air (which doesn't make much sense because the ecu was restarted?). Peter.
