  1. Don't know the spring rates, will have to get back to you. It should be either 6kg/4kg or 6kg/5kg (front/rear). It is a bit more bumpy, but at the same time it's kind of less bumpy due to the matching shocks, compared to stock shocks/king springs combo. Got it at 12 clicks (front) and 10 clicks (rear) from soft dampering at the moment. I thought I had some free time today so I wanted to see how the current height goes with my other wheels & offset. Started putting one wheel on, then got called to go somewhere..didn't want to look like a retard with one black wheel, so quickly put stockies back on lol. Anyhoo, it looked awesome; was sitting nicely, however, not sure if it's ideal. I.e. a big bump and wheel will hit the body? See how it goes on Sunday. :P Also, bought Castrol Edge 5w-30 for its 30,000km service. Thanks for loooking! Peter.
  2. Looking good Duy! Sorry to hear about the dents, a***holes! <_< Btw, seems like you have heaps of time, always replying to threads, do you even work at work?! :P
  3. As Mick said, absolutely fine. I been using it for my mum's rolla since I've been servicing it. No problems. Quick note though, your ZRE ('07 & '08) uses the metal oil filter, whereas the '09 ZRE uses the paper kind of oil filter. Not sure about the facelift ZREs, probably paper type too. :) Peter.
  4. Hey Pete, how do I test the strips without putting them on yet. Can I just use the car battery? Just printed off your guide and currently reading through it like a textbook! probably going to go Autobarn later, any wire as long as it's 12v is okay, correct? Peter.
  5. Looking good Pete!! That GPS fits in so nicely! ;) Great additions! Jealous hehe :D Peter.
  6. Nice write up Bill. Twas a great read! Peter.
  7. LOL, doing it Sunday morning, rest of day got family function..zzZz told you ages ago I couldn't go! :P
  8. Thanks man. Stockies look so small now..lol Putting it on this Sunday as well as adjusting height. :) Scraping, yeah badly. Car is fairly low atm.. but for those that know my driveway, I can surprisingly still make it up and down, so it's okay (except for big speed humps LOL). Still how it is with my 17s and their offset..Got a feeling needs to be raised slightly. Can't wait for yours John, will make your car even more sexy than it is now! Eventhough my car is low, look how much (more bada**) lower it can go!! Thanks Cuong! How's the shoe search going? :P
  9. Nice work man. I believe a cruise is coming up! Hehe Peter.
  10. Well Lee, you know what they say, big brakes means big ... :P :P
  11. Thanks Duy, soon mate, soon! :D Fair enough, thanks Lee. I guess I usually carry passengers so keep it not too much of a difference? Say.. 14 fronts/12 rears. :D Thanks mate. I got mine from here, (JZSInternational). They are a bit pricey but genuine Toyota part from Japan (and fast too, took 4-5 days). I've been told that genuine Mitsubishi Evo slimlines are only $80!! <_< You can get it from Castle Hill Toyota, heard it's about the same price, but because I didn't get it from here (AU dollar was good back then), I can't help you with the part number (I threw out my box/packaging already). You can PM 'juvenile', he would definitely be able to help you out. :) Peter.
  12. Nice find Cuong! They look like they have just been developed..so anybody's guess if it will fit. Does say Corolla '09, but should make sure it's for aussie ZRE. :) Peter.
  13. Ah cool. I was going to put it to 16 (half) straight away, but end up not. What was the reason you put it softer on the rear again? No worries, meet up soon Tomeee. Still got one more exam! :)
  14. Will, I've been using Mobil 1 5w-50 for the past 20,000kms. Seems to be really good, however it is winter now so 50 might be a bit too thick. My 30,000kms service is due, am going to try Castrol Edge 5w-30. The manual says 20w-50, 10w-30, 5w-30, 5w-20, 0w-20 can be used. Ideally, I think you should go either 5w-30 or 10w-30. :) Peter.
  15. Thanks Lee! They're in the shed while I'll play around with it. Might have to raise her up a tiny bit, due to the offset. :) What dampening do you have on yours at the moment again Lee? Was it 16 or something rather on the fronts and a bit less on the rears? I know dampening is different between brands and car models, just good to know. Mine is on 10 from soft atm..might put it to 12 or 13. Peter.
  16. Finally, it's in! Sitting level now..hehe what exams! :D Peter.
  17. Thanks mate. Most likely I'll just strip and solder it. Will let you know how it goes! :) Peter.
  18. Hey Pete, do you get these at any electrical store or has to be from Toyota? I'm not sure if I'll do this or use scotch locks as you said in the first post.. What do you think? Also, the setup below is so the strips are in parallel? I.e. the ones you sent me? I'll probably need to buy a couple of more wires (for extension/connection)? :) Cheers, Peter.
