  1. Hey all, I've just got a quote for 3 TRD ZZE12# short shifter kits from Japan through Greenline. Part Number 33530-ZE200 THe end price to our door is $306 per shifter kit. THis is $50 - $80 cheaper per unit then the same kit from castle hill toyota or from TRDsales. These are not just shortening the leaver its a whole cradle kit that reduces the throw. YDOIT4 has one on his 1ZZ and heaps of the 2ZZ guys have them on. I'm up for one but will need 2 more peeps to get this price or if we get more then 3 the price will get even cheaper. BTW installing it yourself should be to hard.
  2. Email Jason at australia@greenline.jp and he will get back to you with a full quote in AUD and i just dumped the cash via netbank into his account and an invoice along with the item was sent within 3 - 4 days Im currently tryiong to see if we can get the TRD quick shifter at a cheaper rate,

  8. The 215 45 17 are wider the 205 dylan. ALso provide much more comfort and grip. THey are also just as close to the stock tyre stock as the 205's
  9. ive had 215 45 17 spSPORT 9000 Dunlops with a guard wall for to protect the rims and they were very close to the guard. IF you ookd behind the car they would stick out of the mud flaps

  11. The trd intake pipe is 2.75" or 70 mm. GO to super cheap and get 2 clamps and they have intercooler piping connectors.Get the one with 70mm Internal diamature and you'll be right. I brought it from super cheap for $9.99 plus clamps ( which you could use the trd ones)

  15. Flat 15's on the horizon ;) ;) ;) HAHA yeh i wish. I doubt it will do anything on the track. Its more peice of mind that i have a good filter on there now and it sounds and feels great!! it takes more then 1 or 2 kw's to make a difference on the strip. Hey bill do you know if this will fit my car?? I hope so !! :P :P THIS!! Nar the TRD pod was the loudest!! But ive been told when it comes to Filters, Louder means more restrictive. So just goes to show. THe sound is definently deeper with the apexi. Makes the exhaust sound louder though?? I THink??
  16. Hi guys, FInally decided on a filter to replace the crappy one that came with my OTTO'R CAI. I decided to go with the dual funnel apexi Universal Power Intake form Japan. First thing i noticed was that the filter is smaller then the TRD one. BUt the funnel design is unique to the apexi filter and they say it increases the airflow by the way in which the air comes in. I also noticed the noise is alot deeper and spred out though the whole rev range. Where the TRD i had on before seemed to be all noise up high. I've also been told the less noise the better, as it means its less restrictive. :P Here are some pics from below the car. So as a quick review from just driving the car for 30k's since instaling it, i feel a definante increase in power up top compared to the TRD filter and also the car revs a tad faster now. ANyone whos thinking of getting one the fitler with the steel 70mm flange is around $130 including shipping from japan from http://www.greenline.jp/. Took 3 days to get to my door. Good service if you ask me. ANyway thats my little review for now. Bill
  17. Either am i really. I build alot of computers so i can understand a little how things work. Bring it too the meet we should be able to all help out and get it done quite fast. I wil say mine was 2 peice CAI which makes it alot easier.

    bye guys..

nope my bet he gets an integra type R
  20. i watched that run tom and he did wait a tad before he launched..
  21. the best way to calculated the exact figure is to fill up, then use half a tank while resettin gthe Meter. THen when u fill out next see how many letres you put in and how many k's you have done. The fuel reader is way out on all toyotas. I drive 45ks with the fuel light on and still had 8 letres in the tank.
  22. Straight from WSID INTERNATIONAL dragway. When the starter is satisfied both cars are in stage he presses a button which activates a countdown of the three amber lights (each four-tenths of a second apart), and then the green. If you move before the green, remember that foul light – but don’t be tardy because if your opponent gets away from the start line before you, he has an advantage which you will have to overcome if you are to beat him to the finish line. Your response time to the green light, or reaction time, will instantly appear on the scoreboard in your lane. If you want the quickest reaction time, the best advice is to stand on the throttle as soon as you see the last amber light because by the time you’ve reacted and your car has responded, the green light will just be coming on. Cash prizemoney will be handed out at each event for the three quickest reaction times before 9pm. Also a cash pool will be added to at each meeting and will be given to the first perfect reaction time. A “perfect reaction time” is .000.
