cheers bud thats basically what i thought it was too but its going to my mechanic next thursday for a service so i will get him to look at it and see what he thinks it is, i think i got a couple weeks left of warranty but if it runs out then i will stamp my feet til they fix it for nothin lol, they'r jus tryin to get out of it coz they made **** all money on the car cos the salesman was a good mate of mine..... the car idles fine, drives fine (there's a noise in second gear at 5k an above once u press the clutch to change gears, like its rubbin on a selector and slowing down or somethin its kinda hard to explain)

got a 05 stivo and is still under statutory warranty from a dealership secondhand, i took it in with a rattle in the gearbox when idling in neutral with clutch disengaged, once i engage the clutch the noise goes away, once a/c kicks in the noise gets heavier. i had a feeling that the throw out bearing may be shagged but the mechanic at the dealership said that it was just gear rollover but im not happy with his decision cos if it cost me big dollars later to replace throwout bearing and most prolly clutch if it fails due to the bearing im gonna be ******... the question is has anyone else got so called gear rollover in their 6 speed??? p.s i have a wrxc with a straightcut ge****t in it and it has gear rollover and it sounds nothin like this rattle noise. cheers stacey

how much u willin to pay for them with very mild gutter rash on one rim with 70%rubber?

funny u should say this, today i got a quote on these same headers through my local exhaust shop and he gave me a price of $644 fitted... i spoke to ces today as well and they reccomend their change over ported stockies cos the initial diameter of the hurricanes are little big.. dunno what im gonna go with my two cents

may be a stupid question but iv read most of this thread and got bored lol but if i port my stock headers in a facelift 05 stivo can i leave the rest of the exhaust stock until funds kick in again? cheers stacey

I would suggest not touching anything in ur car again if u cant get the simplest little electrical thing working right.... dont take this as an insult. i get tonnes of these things in at work everyday and it really pisses us off cos they **** everything and expect us to fix it for them for nothin.....

the fuse marked DOME is only the 12v constant wire and there is no point checking it if ur interior light still works. ur accesories fuse will be in the car most probably be marked AUDIO(durr) or cigaret., silly karr i would be guesing u cut ur harness off??? that would be the only way u can blow a fuse....

I'd gladly accept that challenge if I could be bothered organising it :P haha yeah not worth it lol

99% of toyotas have the same harness since toyota began, they have never changed them, even their starter wires, 12v constant wires, ignition wires etc etc r all the same from 19ancient to 2000000forever..... toyotas are the best car to work on especially headunit refits, a landcruiser trayback takes me about ten minutes start to finish .... i challenge someone to beat me :P

simple solution... SCRAP THE $20 PIECE OF CRAP and buy a good aftermarket one.... p.s if there is no 12v constant to ur unit it will not work at all. tiet do u have to reset any other functions on the unit and is it aftermarket?????

swap u ur stivo for my wrx

hi all i wanna know where else to get a rear skirt for a 05 stivo from other then toyota... i rang toyota on friday and he could only find one for a 2001 stivo, and my price (cos i deal with them through work) was $430 unpainted. so i said uh NO! wanting to know if there is someone who makes them outta fibreglass maybe or somethin.... please heellllpppp, it jus doesnt look right

these antennas are stubby as it says in the first post they can be made to make up the 3 different heights, this photo which is not real good but it shows the shortest section

Hi all, i am trying to organise a bulk buy in shorter antennas (through work) to suit Corolla's, Yaris's, Echo's, etc etc. these antennas come with 3 adjustable lengths of 130mm, 170mm and 270mm overall length installed, i need a minimum of 20 buyers in order to get them at $15 including postage otherwise they are $25 including postage if u dont want to wait......
