  1. update:

can we change the meet time to 8:30pm pls? have last minute things at work to take care of :(

so 8:30PM Auto pro Innaloo (upstairs), will scope out some possible locations from there.

maybe down to the innaloo carpark (depenent on security/accesability)? then onto south perth car park? and anywhere from there!? :P

if you have a camera, bring it along! any bright white LED work lights may be helpful as well if we decide to get creative with lighting? :)

  2. it also does play a part in how you power the speakers... high end speakers which are underpowered can still sound pretty average, compared to a mid range speaker which is matched with a amp that powers it to it's full potential...

for top end stuff, look at brands such as:

Focal, Mb Quart, Alipne, Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio, Pioneer, BOSE etc etc

but dont worry so much about brands etc, worry about powering the speakers you have to their full potential, and maybe look at some dynamat to help enhance the speakers output?

  3. The underground carpark has 2 entries/exits. One of them is on the main road which they do close off. The other you get into from the outside carpark and I think is always

open. I'll check it out tonight for you. And you're the photographer so where ever you think is best we shall use

thanks mate :) i will drive past the karrinyup carpark tonight as well, but for now it looks to be the autopro carpark innaloo, 8pm.

Will have final details for you tomorrow morning before work :)

oh and i am by no means a "photographer" :P i dont get paid for my efforts(ulnless its a wedding), im just a guy who likes to snap away :P so yeah, please be easy on me for my first car photoshoot :P :)

Just curious, how were you entering the underground carpark at innaloo? I've been in the underground a couple of times at night. I used the entrance from the outside carpark on the Ikea side not the main entrance straight from the road

i entered from the main road, dunno what the name is,. same rd that the ikea entrance is on... do these carparks have monitored security??

still think if we wanna start from that side of town, we start at the auto pro innaloo?

    what are you thoughts guys?

  5. awsome shots Ruimond! :)

just something to try, block the light source from the lens direction to avoid those light trails :P

wheres the shots taken after the upper lvl curtin photo?

cant wait to meet ya'll to take some shots! :)

Haha thanks Davo. Yeah i was trying to hold it down more, but need more practice with the light. Haha. First time trying it out, was fun though!

Those were taken at millpoint carpark near the river side. Good idea jayme!

    nice,

Tuesday night, come out for a shoot! :)

  6. photoshoot this tuesday night to scope some locations out...?

just a quick update, it seems the ikea/innaloo shopping centre havent caught onto us, and have now blocked off entrances to their carparks.

if anyone is keen, Tuesday night, southperth carpark? the one near the bridge? im at a bit of a loss for locations at the moment, im basically chasing a open space with WHITE fluroecent lighting (not too keen on the yellow/tungsten light)....

another possible location i spotted is the carpark for the botanica bar in innaloo, near where the auto pro is, that has bright white lights in the carpark...

anyway, lets get some numbers of ppl..

  8. It shouldn't. Its not going to harm anyone compared to ordinary wax im guessing so it should fine.

    What wax are u buying?

    thanks for your help :)

im getting some M26 HiTech wax in liquid form, as they only sell in the paste here in Aus which is a pain in the rear end to apply, with the liquid i can use my DA to apply it quicker... and also some other bits like pads and backingplates... seem to be cheaper OS

  9. I'm an addict from way back :P have made no attempts at "curing" this addiction... :P

Always have at least 1 full claybar in my detailing ****nal, along with numerous bottles of quik detailer and final inspection (buy when their on sale ppl!)

claybars are great - clay the paintwork, windows, wipers, rims :P yes, im an addict.....

  10. here a pic of mine, will get more pics later..

yo man! we need to meet up and get some photos of that bad boy!

    when are you free!?

body kit looks awsome! and do i see angel eyes? or is it just the lighting??

yup! lets go lets go!! do u prefer day/night shoot? time can be arranged..

haha thats just the lightning mate...

night shoot woujld be good, depends on wat ppl prefer...

    check this thread :) http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...mp;#entry374600

  11. OK, so my last attempt was an epic failure, so im going to start this thread and hopefully get a bit more organized.

Shoot date: Any Tuesday night, possibly a Saturday early morning??

    Possible Locations:

    1. Curtin visitor upper carpark

    2. Galleria Upper carpark (near cinemas)

    3. Innaloo undercover carpark

    4. Karrinyup undercover carpark

    5. Southperth carpark (near the bridge)

    6. Council building carpark along cedric street

please post your interest and any other known photoshoot locations you can think of.

good lighting (white fluro light is good) would be nice...

    thanks :)

  12. No wonder why you have such a deep gloss in your car

I sometimes just wonder if its all worth it, the car just gets dirty again under 24 hours (rain, dust bugs etc).

But once these products finish I'll go for the ones you recommended. I was happy with Turtle products, I guess I'll fall in love with meguiars :P

One more question, where did you buy them from? The polisher and pads?

yeah i think that too sometimes, even worse when you have a white car :P but im one of those weirdos who acctually finds cleaning the car, relaxing! :P so.. yes it is worth it :) dont you fall off the train now mate! :P oh and once you see the water beading that nxt 2.0 gives, you will know it is worth the trouble :)

i purchased the meguiars polisher and pads from repco and the mothers wax attack from auto pro (which i think is called auto barn over east)

pretty sure if auto barn is the same as auto pro here in wa, they will do both mothers and meguiars products... the wax attack seems to be readily available here, but the meguiars DA polisher had to be ordered in...

    :)

  13. Also what buffer do you use? I really need to buy one, doing it by hand is a pain in the *****!!

im using a Meguiars g220A Dual Action polisher... alsong with meguiars w8006 polishing pads (for paint correction and cleaning) and w9000 finishing pads (for applying pure polishes)

and i use a Mothers wax attack palm polisher to apply my final step products (wax)

    :)
