  1. brand new rear hatch spoiler. genuine toyota suit 2003 onwards $275. location redbank plains (near Ipswich). I can pack up for freight (e-go or similar), but I think wont post as it is too long.
  2. does anyone know if the later ZRE exterior mirrors with blinkers in them, will fit the pre-facelift ZZE cars??. if not, is there a correct mirror for the early model?? thanks
  3. do you still have the intake. if so email me a pic of the back side where the pipe fits. what is the pipe diameter??. direct email is tobeirne@skillpro.com.au what did the outside mirrors come off?? can you post an updated list of whats still available thanks
  4. yes, it will bolt in , but there are a million changes between NA and turbo, making swaps almost not economically viable. look at the tech info on MR2OC or visit www.roadandtrack.net.au
  5. Before you worry about parts, get professional advice on if/why it has blown. in many cases, chronic overheating that causes a blown head gasket, results in a soft head which is un-usable. you also need to replace the head bolts. Assuming its a 3SGE, then those heads are very prone to serious corrosion, another cause of seemingly blown head gaskets The head gasket itself is cheap (about $70), but all the other gaskets, bolts etc add up. expect to pay about $200 if its a 3SG PM if you need help
  6. I'm chasing a single 4AG forged, high comp piston in +0.5mm or +1mm oversized. prefer later type with 20mm pin. anyone got a single or broken set. thanks
  7. definitely shim on top of bucket. clearances can go tight (from valves pounding into seats), or loose from valve stem tip wear and/or shims getting worn centres. fixed hundreds
  8. all the C code gearboxes have the same torque rating, so swapping wont solve your problem. most of the dead ones I see are blown up from repeated wheelspin on 1 wheel. A proper plate type LSD will help this, but not solve the serious other problems these boxes have. the only Toyota box that has a chance is the E code as found in GZE powered corollas and Mr2's. i have yet to do this conversion , but I expect it wont be real hard.
  9. i made a set based on some S13 Cusco ones. i re-made the alloy top plate, as i could not find anything that was an exact fit
  10. i have fixed a few of these at my work. pm me if you need help as i cant use this forum for commercial adverts terry
  11. that grille is now obsolete from toyota and was not factory fitted on Aust cars. it was a standard fitrment in US market cars 2002/03. the very early bars dont have the fixtures for it. i have sucessfully fitted my own mesh grille to solve the on-going problem of damage to the air-con condensor
  12. I've written an article on modifying 3SG's. it does not cover turbo conversions as i have a separate article on the turbo engines. see it at www.roadandtrack.net.au.
  13. this can be reltively easy, provided you have the correct engine package. dont even think about doing it with just a handful of un-connected bits. I've done a few. typical issues.... Gen 1, 3SGTE's are typically rooted, so avoid these. Gen 2, ex GT4, has lots of minor differences to Gen 1, but provided you get a whole package, then it will go in OK. bonnet vent needed to keep stock IC Gen 3, ex 205, can be very difficult to fit as there are so many small changes, electrics are a serious hassle to integrate in all cases, when fitting into a SX, you have these issues... have to swap to E code box with special axles. SX crossmember does not fit/clear the big box gear shifter cables needed to match gearbox air-con lines dont mate up and custom ones needed radiator fan usually gets tangled up air filter inlet does not line up unless battery is moved to boot
  14. my local wreckers has one, but its from a AE95R (later model).
  15. thanks, I got the wiper panel elsewhere on Friday before seeing your reply. how much for the air-con pipes??. Are the ones around the front to/from the condensor un-damaged?? do you have any other stuff??
  16. does anyone yet have the Aurion/2GR ECU pin-outs?
  17. usually stocked by road & track. www.roadandtrack.net.au
  18. standard front fog lights for factory bar alloy air-con pipes air-con condensor (radiator bit) standard air filter box, complete. minor cracks or missing clips OK plastic panel at bottom on windscreen where wipers sit 2 front guards, minor scratches etc OK, but not badly crashed thanks 2 steel brackets that hold factory stereo into console TRD style bonnet spoilers TRD style raised bonnet scoop cash waiting, thanks
  19. i have had no luck with cheap "ebay" replacement keys on a couple of modern toyotas The plain transponder key can be re-made for about $150 if you want one with remote open/close buttons, then the bare key is $350 or so, plus cutting + programming
  20. I have a mint condition 7AFE engine. that will be in your budget.
  21. I have a mint condition 7AFE engine. that will be in your budget.
