ok these idiots at "zenaracing" on ebay are pi$$ing me off... he first tells me that he is ok with it and now his boss says i'm too much of a "risk" to do bussiness with me. wtf? i'm looking for another supplier, these guys look really shady to me.
Congratulations !!! so you feel power up now? no i havent fixed it yet ben LOL! i've booked it in for the saturday after... today i was at another place which hoisted my car up... :P
put my car on the hoist today and went around with the magnet. the striaght parts of the pipe the magnet didn't stick but where the mandrel bent pipes were the magnet grabbed a little. not as much as the mild steel I got at home though. regardless the mild steel I got here hasn't rusted through yet and that's been 8 yrs. I assume this one will last a longer can't really fault the quality of the steel they used for the price I paid.
ahh ok yep i am really mindful about it when i make u-turns. i'll have a person check it tomorrow when my car goes up on the hoist :) i dont think i've lost any fluid which is a good thing...
hey guys i'm getting a squishing noise when i full lock my steering. this is the power steering pump working overtime? i dont usually full lock and hold it there/put pressure but i noticed it today doing a u-turn. also revs kick in abit higher at ~1.1k thanks
hi guys, just wanting to know if anyone know of a good collision repair place inspection in melbourne. i want them to inspect my car after the repair from the accident. URGENT!!!! thanks guys edit: sorry hsould have said its for mechanical repairs! :)
alright guys updated the list. i spoke to the guy and he finally replied. he will get back to me with the details with his boss once he talks to him :) keep the interest coming!
ok this is getting way over my head. -_- I'm going to give then one chance to fix it. if any reason in the future another problem arises, ill ninja their ball sacks.
hey lee. yeah i didnt have to squeeze anything. i just told aami and they said they would give me a call later today which i'm still waiting on... and that they will fix this problem
Pete. if thats the case, I will take my money back. but I'm a Guy who will give people a chance to rectify their mistakes. but if along the way, if it cracks for whatever reason, u can b sure ill be there to get my money back.
i run the varex 2.5'' muffler. yeah... hehe, they were mostly onthe top part of the piping so we couldnt see it. but once we got the mid pipe out we throughly checked every weld. how about a third option of taking my money back and throwing the cat-back back at them? >=[ seriously the flow inside the piping is OK. only one small protrusion of over fill inside the muffler i saw and i will tel them to file that down.
alright. I'm going to tell them I want a new flange on that pipe. I don't want any sh#tty glue on my exhaust. of course I pay for what I get but actually, this cat back isn't that cheap either. I told them from the start, "I don't care if I pay a bit extra. I want the job done properly." so now they r gonna do it properly. me and two other people will be armed with soapy water n will check it before it comes off the hoist.
thanks mate. :) yep I went back to them in the morning and told.them what happened with printed pictures. he told me that with the flange leak, we can fix that with a little bit of exhaust sealant. I also told him I want the welds cleaned up. he responded if there is a little leak it won't cause a big problem. I looked at him in the eye n told him "I prefer to have NO LEAKS in my exhaust. opinions about the exhaust sealant guys?
got some new pics...
what about these "holes" they dont look like holes i thought if these are holes the soot mark would be bigger and the burn marks all around it (like flickering out)
