  1. no. its all in our heads. but IF YOU WERE THERE, maybe we could have got some flicks LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL -___________________-
  2. if u have the reflector type lights, make sure u can adjust the aim of the low beams abit lower since u don't have hid projectors. just squat down in front of ur high lights and roughly aim them so they are about 35 degree from the horizontal plane. i did this to mine so i minimise the glare to on coming traffic/or the person in front. one of my personal hates is the glare of the hids when people don't freaken know how to adjust them. makes me think they are constantly on high beams behind me. -_-

  4. ok. today was fun... went to eviltwin's place to get the gearbox fluid changed to Castrol Syntrax 75W90 with the Nulon G70 fluid inside. We also got solid metal bushings replacing the gear selector cables. Was surprised how easy it was! should have did it myself! DOH! Shifting feels more direct and notchy than the rubber bushings that were inside. when we got them out one of them was pretty worn out. Some noise was generating in the chassis on the way back home and upon quick inspection, the washers that were making the rattling noise. maybe i'll get some rubber washers to be put in between to stop the rattling noise. big thanks to eviltwin for the help. now i can change my own gearbox oil in another 50,000 or so :)
  5. yeah of course you can one word agressive...
  6. pics are up... worn to the shim trd pads... in with the new... what im concerned about are the pads on the left side didn't bed in properly... but hopefully with a few days of driving they will eventually bed the whole width of the pad. its getting there now just a few hundred more kms. im guessing the slotted rotors will cut them down so they will be flush with the rotors in no time ;)
  7. LOL :D seriously dude, there is filter and yes if you are really worried just keep the receipt(s) and if anything happens, you can hold them responsible for the fuel.
  8. Got my pads changed over today and machined the rotors... the pads that went on the left didn't bed in properly but its getting there... a few more days of normal braking and it should do the trick. My TRDs fronts were pretty much down to the last matchstick size :P TRDs black ---> QFM HP-X pads. Pedal feel is quite good. but thats how the TRDs were when they were first put in. rotors were of minimal wear as well (even though i punished it on the track). of course the left passenger got more punishment as the track was a clockwise one. what suprised me was the mechanic said, "your rotor wear is even better than most peoples normal "street driving". so i must be doing something right... for once pictures will come up when photobucket gets back from maintenence...
  9. fuken sik, ready for some track funnnnn. me, johnnieboi, mrmps and 2 other friends are heading up...

I just buy phones outright mate and use prepaid sim. I've ported my same number 3 times now from Optus to Vodafone and now to Telstra. Telstra prepaid plans are awesome value and reception is second to none.

  12. I thought I'd just post this in here rather than make a new thread. This is the noise you hear from the front brakes when they need changing. The rears do not have squeal shims.

  19. I really hope, seriously. That you crash your car next time you attempt this. ouch. but i'm pretty sure he did it on an abandoned airport runway :P i agree with all the previous comments, much cheapers for you in the long run ;) good luck with it though :) i like old school rollas
  20. i'm not from brissy but from what i hear ces would be the best place to go to port the headers... how much do they charge? mine was done for around 200 here and head2head did a fantastic job. maybe you should have bought mine when i was selling it. so i can port them and send them to you hehehehehehe :D if it works out cheaper for you just send it and get them ported and get it sent back to you ;)
  21. PM replied ;) Good explanation for the offset I know federals have semis for the 15s in 205/50/r15. u mentioned 15x7??? or 15x6?? 2+ to this, but you've been on the track before so i assumed you brought extra tools and fluids with u on the previous track days right dez? ;) if you got mates try to share the tools. since i'm on stock struts + super lows, this is important so i dont bottom out LOL i have went to winton twice and on both occasions my jack came in handy for others. off topic: are you still coming to spectate dorifto?
  22. OH YEAHHHHH, did u take for a little spin down your street? sounds mad mate, now get it on the track already ;) :P
