    hey guys, long time no post in this topic... i need to know which sunday on the month of June people are good for the recon run... this day will involve us driving the whole great ocean road with stops to plan out our stops on the actual cruise day... the crew here figured that some people will want to go home after we reach torquay/the great ocean road sign, for some pictures or whatever as the road is quite a drive (3 to 4 hours one way not including lunch/snack break... stops etc.) 20th of June OR 27th of June

    Geez mate thats fcked. Dw about the mirror, police will take care of that. Its still road worthy so dw about it. U did the right thing not getting out of the car as well. And about modding ur car, it doesnt grab any attention really (unless u r doing something stupid). I know i havent yet. Ill be home soon ill pay ya a visit later

    +2, idling to warm (also just excessive idling even when warm) causes excessive build up on the spark plugs due to incomplete combustion of the fuel i drive mine after around 10 to 20 seconds from cold start

    i find it even more quiet on 6th :P nah i dont think he is cruising in 3rd on 50km/h, just in the gear accelerating range im trying 5th in 60km/h and 6th at 70km/h i'm gonna see if it change any fuel economy... the last few weeks its been around 8.6L/100km mixed

    nah it should be ok... i wanna buy a broken one from the wreckers and crack it open to see if its possible to do the change of colour or not... it doesn't matter what region, though i know the fuel gauge will be abit off as the levins have a 50L tank as opposed to a 55L tank on the sportivos. where they the SMD type leds? i'd have fun revving it off the clock too :D

    Nope. There are no accessible bulbs. it appeared to be LED's in the dash, already had a quick squizz at mine. This is why I was also looking at other dashes... Wait... i f they r leds. The brightness cant be adjusted becuz of the threshold voltage of the resistor? Any pics of the internals? :P where they soldiered in? Was it hard to pull out if the dash and crack open? Im sacred to do mine afraid somethig might happen lol

    Not blue. What u see what cha54 has posted is the normal colour of that tacho. Im tenpted to buy one just to take it apart to see id it is possible that it can be changed... Im guessing its just bayonet bulbs that i can twist and replace. The video u saw in youtube was the xrs in america. There is another video with the celica dash but i sont think that activate during lift. I think that goes by revs

    no they cant... they have a red backing behind the tacho, so it will be a purple colour if there is blue lights behind it... hence i want the levin optitron manual dash cuz i can change it to a blue colour (and future mod to turn from blue to red when it hits lift)
