  1. Yeah dont blast any part of the car for a long period of time with the pressure water gun. If there is rain water getting in then yes there is a problem. Not saying that u do it but high pressure spray into cracks is stupid.
  2. Saw a white zre182 with plates zre182 coming towards albion from sunshine. Stock as a rock but i already see good things happening on the car :)
  3. tell them the noise is still happening, fix it or u go to vcat, they will get off their asses to fix it. what dealership and which car?

  9. Hi.
  10. farking awesome! :D
  11. i think thats going a bit techinical for the poor fellow isnt it? :) for the lay person, have a tyre pressure checker from your local super crap or repcrap or autocrap for like 10 bucks. check your tyre pressures everytime u fill up the car. for the 2011 corolla, i recommend 35 psi not the factory recommendation of 32psi. no u will not pop the tyre at this pressure. as said above, tyres that have toe in wear the outer part of the tyre (i think correct if wrong) and tow out wears the inner. from factory, all cars have slight toe in for highway stability and safety in the straight line. u've travelled a fair bit, i'd say its fair that your tyres should be replaced soon. weight has nothing to do with the tyre wear. unless u weigh 200 kgs -_-
  12. Great. More people we know = less likely to get random f@gs into the group out on the track
  13. OP has been updated.
  14. I stopped recieving mine... U must have missed something
  15. Radius rod bushes? Control arm bushes? If it is replace them with poly urethane ones. Get sets from america front and rear. They shouldnt be worn out that quickly unless the cars been slammed for a long time
  16. There is that infamous rolling shot hanging out the window again :P nice rims :
  17. Wb lee. Should come with us to winton next monday! :D
  18. Over steer is fun. Just not when things are in the way -_-
  19. for the lulz. man i oversteered at the sweeper at sunshine on ramp towards the city... and again at the albion station sweeper... and again on the on ramp from tulla to western ring. all left turns... should take it easy more on those corners -_-
  20. Disclaimer: Neither TOCAU nor I take responsibility if you damage or blow up your car in any way. Do this DIY at your own risk! Time to change that gearbox oil? This guide will show you how Things you need: Bucket/Drainer for oil 15/16 Socket and wrench (ZZE122) 17mm Socket and wrench (ZZE123) "Size 30" Allen key with wrench (ZZE122 Ascent/Sport/Levin etc.) Gearbox oil of your choice (refer to owners manual for recommended weight) + Nulon G70 Additive 125ml (optional) ZZE122 5 spd takes 1.9L ZZE123 6 spd takes 2.3L Floor jack and jack stands Dirty Rags Muscles 1) Use the floor jack to jack up the car from the front. 2) Place one jack stand on the drivers side of the car and lower the car. This will help you get access to the sump plug from under the car. This is the sump plug you are looking for... Use the 15/16 Socket to remove it and let the oil drain, in my picture the oil wasn't dirty or used much (you are meant to change every 50k or 30k if you operate gearbox in harsh conditions) but for the sake if this guide I have done it again as I needed to replace the unknown oil the mechanic used to replace when they inspection my car during insurance work. if the oil is black and runny like water, you BETTER CHANGE IT! this is what the gearbox sump plug looks like After finished draining, bolt the sump plug tight (just nip it up, no need to superman strength) and remove the jack stands and lower the car. If you have the 5spd manual you are to remove the filler plug circled in red with the size 30 allen key. If you have the 6spd manual you are to remove the filler plug circled in green with the 17mm socket wrench. (Thanks to Superdave for the picture ) I only took a picture of the 6spd box filler plug, the other one should be clear from the picture depending on your gearbox, you have to fill up with the correct amount of fluid... AGAIN 5 spd gearbox = 1.9L and USE THE ALLEN KEY FILLER PLUG 6 spd gearbox = 2.3L and USE THE HEX FILLER PLUG If you are using the additive, Put in 1L of fluid first like so and then squirt the G70 inside then fill up the rest of the oil to capacity, taking care NOT to overfill the gearbox with oil! Once your done just clean up and replace the filler plug where it was and enjoy smoother shifting! Enjoy!
