i read what OP just posted and i don't see a problem if there even is a problem?. its just how the gear ratios are. they wont change. tyre pressure will make SFA difference unless its like 20psi to 40 psi... changing the tyres rolling diameter for example will make the ratios a bit longer or shorter depending on decreasing or increasing it.

ok lets keep this simple. got clutch changed 2000kms ago. started squeaking/chirping after 2000kms. comes from engine bay when the clutch is fully released or in gear. louder in gear and deceleration. went back to transmission shop and they said that the extended push rod is pushing out the clutch further when its released therefore making the noise. when the clutch wears in more, the noise will go. he did spray a bit of crc or wd40 equivalent on the OUTSIDE where the push rod and fork meet. no good either. not convinced about what he said. then quick search on forums netted this: should i wait until a while and if the noise comes back to back to them? they are so bloody far and i don't want to take off the transmission again just to spend 5 mins to check and lube the bloody thing and put it back together. -_- or is it something else? it surely cant be the thrust bearing as they would have put the new one in when they put in the new clutch. just say the ball joints arent lubed properly... would driving around a short while require me to change the fork as the wearing on the fork is accelerated?

just to let people know how bad a clogged ocv can look like... this one prevented my friends celica from hitting lift. from the block... amount of sludge i scooped out with a screw driver from the block... the vvtl-i ocv housing... as you can see from the left solenoid sensor, it was clogged up with sludge. i even left the lift ocv sitting there on the newspaper and went into the garage to help my friend with something else and when i came back, a huge glob of sludge dislodged from the ocv and splatted on the newspaper -_- <_< sprayed it was carby cleaner and put it back in with some fresh oil and bang! LIFT!!!

whoa man, 0W20 and didnt get charged extra? also u want spun bearings? continue using that 0W20 oil. i'd recommend 10W30 all year round for that queensland climate. how did u know they put in 0W20 when u requested it? did u give it to them? if its toyota dealer, i really doubt they have that oil and would not charge u extra. local mechanic WOULD definitely charge u extra............... fuel consumption would be TINY bit better...with the expensive of engine protection.
