  1. Bump Pete time to update the pics with your new exhaust.
  2. Klara your long lost lover is fat_zze Unless there is another Andrew with a Black Ascent Hatch.
  3. That is the Wildcat/Genie one. 17KW at the wheel I wish. It is press bent not mandrel bent so the guy selling it, is BS about everything.
  4. Problem somewhat solved. I was told that the cheap sh@t tyres I had on ( Clear HP166) had an extra large side wall. Now that I have changed to some half decent tyres the scrubbing in the 225/40/18 is not as bad.
  5. These guys are not bad if your shopping for some tyres. Pretty good service and take trade ins for second hand tyres. Traded in my old Clear HP166 tyre (10000KM) for Falken Ziex 512(these are being superseded soon) for $145 per tyre in 225/40/18. Cheaper than Nankang Highly recommended.
  6. What can I say Silver rolla with mods you got good taste Personally I'm not a big fan of the wing tips but nice work all round Rear Skirt next????

  8. I like it also. I notice the 5 Pcd which is good as all the good wheels are in 5 hole
  9. Probably better to just paint it like Dylans
  10. Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone in Sydney has had any experience with these guys? I called them on Saturday and the guy was very helpful. They sell a large range of tyres at very competitive prices. http://www.eagletyres.com.au/ Im looking at Sumitomo or Toyo. Cheers, Gazoom
  11. Just note, I'm pretty certain that these headers are much longer in length than the stockies, so the cat itself moves back and the mid-pipe has to be shortened. Can you confirm this for others Gazoom & Danz so they know what's involved with fitment? IZZ-FE you are absolutely correct the headers are alot longer than stock. My car is a 2005 model and the guy at Best mufflers said for my model it is not a direct fit. He said on my model the original engine pipe flange needed to be cut and re welded to the catalytic converter, some models have a flange join at the catalytic converter and no welding required hence direct fit. Some pic of the header being installed on my car. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...c=7305&st=0 FYI - I have the stock cat and stock resonator on my car still after that it is 2.25" to the twin loop muffler. I would recommend to get them installed professionally. Also I am pretty sure that Genie/Wildcat doesn't make anything for 2ZZ. Good luck guys
  12. I understand that load rating is important. Does anyone pay much attention to the speed rating? The letter attached to the load rating? "All tyres are rated with a speed letter. This indicates the maximum speed that the tyre can sustain for a ten minute endurance without coming to pieces and destroying itself, your car, the car next to you and anyone else within a suitable radius at the time. " The rolla has a V speed rating which is a max speed of 240KPH. My thinking is when am I going to drive 240KPH for 10 minutes straight in Australia?? As long as we do not go to far away from V we sshould be alright right?. eg L = max 120 but H=Max 210 so H would be ok
  13. Offset 43 The plastic guard is where the tyre is hitting. So you saying I can remove the guard all together?
  14. Out of curiosity what defines a sports hatch?
  15. Hi Mate, On your registry you have 215/40/18 Pirelli's is that a typo? Are you running 215/35/18? Cheers, Gazoom
  16. Found this thought I'd add it to the info section http://www.toyo.com.au/tech_info8.html
  17. Directional tyre???? I know what they are but can someone post what their purpose is and the benefits vs non directional??? Thanks
  18. Brandon, Your car is on super lows and 18" do you get any scrubbing at all? I think 215/40/18 will solve the problem as the scrubbing is on the outer tyre at the top of the inner plastic guard. The inner guard has already got some cracks and wear from the tyre. That size tyre is a good $60 per corner more expensive than the 225. Cheers, Gazoom
  19. Hi Guys, I have 18 inch wheels on my rolla and running 225/40/18. I then lowered the car on Pedder springs 30-35MM I am now getting some scrubbing on the inner guard on the front 2 wheels. No problems in the back. When the car is stationary there is no clearance problems front or back. How do I fix this? Do I need stiffer spring or better struts ? I do not want 35 series tyres. Thanks Gazoom
