Yeah there's something in Dot4 that’s not in dot3 that is supposedly meant to be "bad" for your health or some crap Toyota reckon cant remember what it is now and because of this that’s why Toyota run Dot3 and do not design their systems to handle this extra chemical or whatever it is there’s been cases of where dot 4 and super dot4 has been used and its totally ceased and destroyed the brake packages lol? & the Castrol stuff is SRF which has a dry boiling po...

From memory i think it can bugger up the ABS system aswell. but like i said weve run VR1 and had no drama's

Yeah. Just did some reading about Toyota being adamant about using Dot 3 fluid. I tend to be on Penrite's side though and will continue to use their Sin brake fluid as it has been a good fluid time and time again.
