  1. I know what you mean! But...I bet you were installing on the ground doing one side at a time? And it was the second one you couldn't get in, am I right? You just have to let the whole control arm droop and install them both at the same time because it's a solid rear arm not IRS, and once it's all together on the ground again reach under and undo those trailing arm bolts on the chassis so its just loose then crank them back up nice and tight, you do this so the bush lines itself up to your new ride height and isn't trying to rip itself apart as it will be twisted until you loosen the bolt,
  2. Hey Terry If you can Send me a pm with what parts in particular you want and what you are willing to pay, I may be able to help,
  3. yea the rpm reads correctly on mine, looks funny when it hits the rev limiter before its even up in the redline on the dash haha, next fuel tank question is can you fit a sportivo fuel tank into a jap wagon so i can get a full tank on the dash haha. I also have the 6 speed fitted in mine now too with the same profile tyres as a sportivo so that the dash reads correct speed, but previously with the 5 speed and the stock 14s the dash did read the correct speed also. everyone knows how to turn the brightness up and down on their clusters right....? i didnt know how to do it for ages and was constantly blinded by the sportivo cluster haha
  4. Like i said before the sportivo cluster was plug and play in my 1zz wagon, the only other thing i forgot to mention was the fuel gauge reads a tiny bit off also,on a full fill it doesn't go all the way to the top anymore(fuel light still gets 100km the same as when i had the stock cluster), does anyone know if the sportivo has a bigger tank? My wagon takes about 40L from an empty fill
  5. i have a sportivo dash cluster in my 1zz zze122 wagon, the wagons are jap made so the southafrican>jap crossover is fine for anyone wondering. there is 2 plugs in the back of a sportivo cluster but only one in a zze122 but you just plug in the one original plug and away it goes. the only problem is the sportivo cluster has two oil pressure lights and the second one flashes on randomly because it has no signal to it.when i get a chance i will black out the oil light so i cant see it haha
  6. sent u a text lemme kno if ur keen, dan
  7. bump just about to add new bits in the original post, 1zz and 2zz injectors, 1zz coilpacks,1zz throttle body(cable not wire )
  8. take the kick panel off in the drivers floorwell and check that the blue and white plugs coming from your door are plugged in properly
  9. can i change the way the topic replies come up on my screen? the replies r all in preview form in a topic and i have to click them all individually to see the replies, am i missing something or is there a setting i can change? just reading over some threads for info and on my iphon eits painfull having to click the different replies , my fat fingers select the wrong ones all the time haha
  10. so r they a shock absorbing thing or a solid bar? they look pretty pointless in the pics... interested in some more info on them
  11. its probably the one way sprag in the starter, yea easy fix for sparky, cost is about $40 for the sprag but they will usually mark it up to at least 80...... its a common problem in any starter, it will kick out still but just spins the inner shaft inside the sprag instead of spinning the gear. good as new when they replace it as the gear and sprag r all one unit,
  12. Is the bottom half of the 1zz and 2zz airbox the same in the zze?

  15. i have a wagon and i have sportivo sideskirts and front lip they fit perfect, if theres any length difference in those parts it not even worth mentioning,i have seen a few bits for sale your way, ill see if i can find the adds and ill send them to you
  16. The front lip and sideskirts are the same wagon hatch and sedan, the rear lips are different, and the sportivo and levin kits fit differently, the sportivo kit is actually easier to fit than the levin kit as the levins have a hole in the guard for the sideskirts, don't forget there's a difference in facelift and non facelift for the front lip also.....Where are you located?
  17. bump , if you still want pics lemme kno sorry been slack havnt been back to check the add lately
