  1. yea pain in the ***** haha, check out a few 1zz alternators if yours is not the correct one you may get lucky with an aftermarket one having the bigger shaft size, they go on you just dont use the extra support bracket on the top. the bad part is that you have to pull the pulley off to see the shaft size and wreckers get annoyed when you walk around pulling alternators apart haha.our metric belt sizing also lands us with a slightly longer belt than the ideal, but it works.....i think from memory its a 6pk1930 that im running on there with the same accesories that your 2zz has on it with both pulleys installed. ill double check it for you!
  2. any more progress? sent you another pm! got it all sorted now!thanks
  3. im going to make your day here:P its the sale price without the shipping on top that customs charges you on so you can order that quaife and not cop the import tax :P also, check your alternator pulley fits your alternator, when i ordered mine it didnt fit the australian delivered alternator, the hole in the pulley was too big and the boss section at the rear of the pulley fouled on the alternator, luckily someone i knew had an imported one that i swapped him for! you alternatively can machine the boss down and run a sleeve in the centre but i wouldnt advise it as i have seen it done before and it kept coming loose on the sleeve and also ill be in sydney on tuesday avo. send me a pm mr22zz! i need to know where to go to find the sportivos at wreckers there:P
  4. interesting so you put the all auto up/down facelift setup into it?

  8. it allegedly was a spanish delivered vehicle............ if you have a look at all the little bits on it you will see spain written everywhere on it :P on the ecu, on the glass of the windscreen down in the bottom passengers corner and on other odd bits, also it has those weird markings around the vin number on the firewall. ill send you a pm with the other details i know of
  9. hey, i think pippy mentioned a while ago you might need a half shaft from a sportivo, i have a half shaft here and a spare bracket also. if you need em gimme a bell
  10. i know a bit of history about your front cut, if its the one im thinking of ....it should have had a few wires on the loom near the ecu cut open because they couldnt get it started and decided to play..... and part of an alloy wheel still attatched to the drivers side hub? and no pedal rubbers on the pedals beacuse it had the factory sports pedal which are now on mine sorry haha. or it could be a different one! send me a pm if u like
  11. ring toyota and ask for a fitting kit for the sideskirts, theres nowhere else to get it from, it includes rubber plugs to hold it up under the sill a couple of bolts with metal brackets and the rubber insert that goes between the body and the skirt,

  16. you cant adjust rear camber with coilovers on the zze122/3 only the front, even if they have adjustable plates on the top on the rear it wont adjust anything due to how they mount. yahoo camber plates through import monster is the easier way to get them link:- http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d113690055&thumb=http://f0.auctions.c.yimg.jp/img167.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/3/2/4/0/cool_style_8-thumb-117031307466335.jpg&title=3%20NZE121G nze121g is just a japanese wagon, its the same bolt up as your zze122/123(but be aware that nze121 without the g on the end is different) it also outsets your wheel slightly aswell giving it a better overall track
  17. you can buy bolt in spacers on yahoo japan, i think they were about 190 australian dollars plus postage
  18. yea i got it sorted, the problem was that between factory and supercheap and bursons and repco the listing books all have different sizes so i just needed to know what someone had on their stock sportivo so i knew what to order! so an australian delivered sportivo corolla with MWR alternator and water pump pulleys runs a 6pk1930,
  19. It is a zze122 corolla wagon with a 2zz out of a japanese fielder wagon,i have had mine and a sportivo side by side and all the accesories are the same size as an australian delivered sportivo, the sportivo i was comparing to had no size markings on the belt.
  20. i am running alternator and water pump underdrive pulleys from MWR on my 2zz sportivo engine, they recommend adding 2 inches to your belt length when running both alternator and water pump pulleys, problem i have is i dont know what length the stock belt is suppossed to be, i have been told its 1930 from one dealer and 1870 from another, i am running a 1930 on there with the pulleys now but i feel it is too tight causing my idler pulley and shock absorber to constantly flog out, can someone tell me what length their stock one is, and anyone else running the pulleys could you tell me what size you have gone to.Also does anyone know what is different on the upgrade toyota belt tensioner setup? Thanks dan
  21. it could be gear noise coming from the gearbox created by the stuffed clutch, is it worse if you are in 6th at like 2000rpm and accelerate? if it is this a new clutch will fix her up no worries, its just a pain in the ***** sound until it gets done
