  1. Damnn DJ, sorry to hear about your pride and joy. Thank god that you and your old man are ok, thats the most important part. Hope all is well and stay safe for the rest of your trip mate. Private
  2. Tash, im sorry to report that i cannot make it this weekend. I took work off for this but turns out my girlfriend bought us tickets to go to future music festival which happens to be on the same day and basically i had no say in the matter. Convo went something like this; "I took work off sunday babe, wanna come on the cruise?" "nuh, were going future remember?" "whos we?" "i bought us tickets cause i knew you wouldnt go if it wasnt for free..SURPRISEEE!!!" "oh thanks babe!" //no pussy whip. 100% ill go to the next one, shoot me if i dont. by then i should have my exhaust and hopefully a few other small mods done. However, if your ever in the inner melbourne metro area, drop me a line tash!
  3. Thats the rk sports lip kit correct? i know it looks the same as the one i posted, but just making sure we're on the same level. What needs to be done for a group buy anyway?
  4. We would need to go through the same distributor though correct? And just to keep pictures flowing, heres the kit im looking into; let me know what you think
  5. You worried about fitment issues at all? Cause what im worried about with getting a lip is it might not fit properly with our bumpers as the bumpers in the US could have different dimensions than the ones here in australia
  6. oh no doubt mate, fair enough. Im with you there, i wouldnt mind one myself. Any particular lips you lookin at?
  7. elgrande; havnt heard from you in awhile mate. Im actually thinking of upgrading wheels and suspension again... tossing up between audio upgrades, lip kit or getting a better stance. 1stkill; no worries mate, anytime.
  8. Thanks for the suggestion spider. might drop into the jaycar near my local area on my day off uni and work and check it out. rom2nv; cheers mate, still a very long way to go though ahha 1stkill; here are the pics as requested front rear
  9. Cheers for your comments guys. Spider; Make sure the switch they supplied you in the kit fits the blank in the dash. My one doesnt and im still currently trying to find a switch that does which is why i havnt wired up my foglights yet. 1stkill; yeah sure ill get around to it after my sleep (been awake since 5.30am)
  10. Sorry i forget to mention that. I filled up around 54 litres last week if my memory serves me correctly
  11. lookin real good toytrd, your making me wanna black out my roof aswell!!
  12. Just a few pic updates. Painted my calipers white recently Haha what you guys reckon? dc2 integra spoiler (dw im not serious) Got a universal muffler coming in from the states, once i get that on ill post up a sound clip. now i can concentrate on the lip kit!
  13. I have 2007 camry so i guess it still applies. I get around 500-600km out of my tank per week using the basica unleaded petrol from shell (nothing else). This is a combination of city and highway driving and me hitting redline about 1/3 of the time
  14. Wow that looks like a nice route. Just looking at the cruise root quickly, i can vouch that its an amazing run. I was on some of the roads through marysvale and kingslake that were mentioned yesterday and it was a fun run.
  15. DavO, i bought a bottle of swirl X as you recommended and tried it out on a very small section of the bonnet, took about 20mins but i noticed the scratches and swirls have reduced by 90%. There are still some swirls and scratches that are evident, but maybe a bit more elbow grease will do the job. Im thinking that this job will take AGESSS to do by hand. Whats your oppinion on picking up a drill with the a drill tip that has the buffer pad attached to the end? (saw one sold at autobarn)
  16. Thanks for the heads up, defs be watching this thread
  17. Cheers for that wixy, definietly use that in the near future
  18. DJ; its confidence. girls like confidence, and when your drunk...you become confident I dont really have any drunk stories, cause i usually remember everything for some reason. But my mates on the other hand.... We were at this house party and long story short, my drank a whole bottle of straight smirnoff, 1 hour later i saw him in the toilet with his pants down, shirt off spewing his guts and my other drunk mate hosing him off.....in the toilet. This particular mate was my ride home -_-
  19. That is pretty good. Do you mind tellin me where you picked up the kit from?
  20. DJ; i personally wouldnt buy a set of HIDs for $75 shipped. You get what you pay for IMO anyway
  21. Wixy; if you really want phillips diamond vision just purchase it off ebay. saw it there for around 80 dollars free delivery.
  22. Thanks for that davo, that did help a lot and thanks for linking that thread mate. much appreciated I will buy a bottle of swirl x and see how it goes. When applying the scratch x 2.0 i was lightly working it in and after i didnt notice any results i added a bit more pressure. I tested this method on the areas behind the door handles and it worked fine from what i can see. How do i know when i need to stop working the product in? I litterly stood behind the car trying to fix them swirl marks from the boot for maybe a good hour or two with no progress. The wax i used was meguiars caranuba wax. Speaking of which, whats the best way to remove the wax? I will definietly tackle this again on my next lazy day off from work and see if i make any progress
