the ecu issue.....good point, b4 the ecu recall was done on my car, i was equal to 1zz rolla in lift!! and it wasnt bout driver skill too, at start i was loosing abit and when lift kicked in we both pulled the same speed

my understanding is toyota lied bout the true 0-100 time because they worry that celica owners would not be happy to be equal to a family hatch, but i cant think why holden would lie bout their 0-100

and dont forget you can also mod your car's air intake to make some noise too, if u have money look at the TRD CAI in the group buy section, if u dont have much money to play with like me, you can just get a replacement filter and remove the snorkel( you can search on here for'SNORKEL' and you will find the step by step for removing it, its very easy) and it will make this deep induction noise when ever you floor it

if u just want to sound tough all you need is a muffler, plus u in tasmania, abit hard for u to get the CES full exhaust since they're in queensland, i have an x-force twin loop s10, its quiet but it sounds real good if u step on the gas, and it screams when lift kicks in and it only cost 190 shipped to melbourne, the only down side is little drone on highway BUT if your dad wants u to buy remus (and he's paying ) than of course get the remus

i found that the koni yellows with king spring are real soft and too soft unless u have it on the hardest settings, what setting r u guys running? will it wear out quicker if i have it on the firmest setting? or is it the king springs that r soft? BTW i love these shocks to bits on the firmest setting, even my mates whos driven heaps of other cars were suprised how good my car handles and soft like stock

i went to the tyre factory in mitcham, for those whos in melb beware!

i got ripped off,but i didnt want to goto city to do it, i paid $1300 installed, i got my own spring, but some one mentioned that u can get them for 1100 installed BTW city suspension in melb quoted me 1500 installed!!!!! very hard to find an honest workshop these days

i got my whiteline rear sway from burson's for 150, which i think its WELL worth it, swaybars are BIG bang for your buck i reckon, just get it and i highly doubt u will regret, and when u think about it its not something that u have to change after time, so u pay for it and enjoy it for many years to come oh and review? two words- flat conering!

anything toyota or honda, not too old and good service history and the other basic stuff of course, i noticed 99% of the mitsu magna(90's model) blows out black/blue smoke, maybe worn engine, so stay away from them!!
