  1. How long does it take? With air con? Without Air con? How long does it take on other Cars? With air con? Without Air con?
  2. Spotted! :D Won't spot her in the same condition thou.. <_< <_< We shall see.. :) Will she look better then she did 1-2 months ago?
  3. Ive seen IL.33.TI once or twice in Hyde park, Sydney CBD. Good to see your a member :)
  4. Great Write up Andrew, Wish this would have worked for the 4 Cylender Camry aswell :(
  5. I've seen a few cars with them. I did once see a 36 Series Camry with these lights in Ballarat(VIC) a few years ago. The Camry had a Bar just above the number plate with 4 Lamps. By the looks of it, i dont think it would affect the airbag. This is only useful if your in those rural/country areas.
  6. Yes its programmable, next time your down at toyota for a service, get them to program it, it wont cost anything as the car is under warranty. just say it was working fine before now its not :)
  7. Unless theres a misprint on the toyota website. I was expecting it to be around 110 KW
  8. Atleast you havent had any problems so far, thats a good sign :) Does that mean the car has Police Mods e.g. Police Chip
  9. + 2... Well said :) This is what makes us Camry Drivers Unique :)
  10. Ultima's are awsome cars.. Great choice btw, i thought u were after a Mazda.... The 4 speed auto is fine, The 2.0 L has an extra 2 KW compared to the 1.8 L :)
  11. Thats alright, i am planning to upgrade my toy early 2012 :) Will enjoy my Camry for a bit longer
  12. Its about $65 on ebay,, check it out. Im guessing its about $250 else where http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TOYOTA-CAMRY-97-02-DOOR-MIRROR-ELECTRIC-65-EACH-/250694346755?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a5e8c2803
  13. Id say Yokohama A or C drive. The O.E Dunlop SP300E tyres were really good tyres, not sure if they are still good as these are made offshore now. I was told the Goodyear Assurance are not as good as they were 4-5 years ago. You can also look into the Bridgestone range. Going back to your original question, Yokohama is the way to go :)
  14. The RE001 tyres are really good. especially for turning/cornering. The only thing is that RE001 dont last long on the Aurions (from what i have read).
  15. For the people who want to convert from the camry to the aurion :whistling: Join the dark side :spiteful: Im keen on an 2010 SX6 :) I remember reading somewhere that the new design Aurion would be releasing sometime next year. Not sure how correct this is
  16. Why is this Topic here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. I wonder how many people bother signing up just to make a thread like "OMG my Camry is the best, it's flawless"?? I was just about to say that...... FYI Everyone else :) OMG my Camry is the best, it's flawless
  18. In the past 2 yrs, I have had more problems with my HID Fog lights then a person would have with their Hyundai Excel. The problem i have now is that one of my Fog light Frames have Fogged up... Ive given up for now. :(
  19. It seems the price varies. One of my mates got it done for $300 on 99 model Camry. If you want it done properly, go to a few smash repairs and get a number of quotes.
  20. If doors are locked from the inside the door will not open if u pull the handle, u will need to unlock first. With the alarm, one beep means lock, two beeps unlock. Not vice versa. If u unlock the car u have 30 sec - 1 min to open the door or else it will lock again. Theres nothing wrong with your Camry, Dont stress :)
  21. Congrats on the purchase and welcome aboard :)
  22. Welcome aboard :) I havent had that issue on my Camry as yet, but i have heard that noise on other cars. I always assummed this was caused due to the discs being rusty. When you take the car for a service in a few month time, might be a good idea to bring this up :)
  23. I know its sad :( luckily mine was under the new car (extended) warranty so it didnt cost me. :) The quotes i got for the alternators were over $500. When i got mine changed, the Service advisor said its a common issue with both Gen 5 and Gen 6 Camry. On that note i have not heard anyone complain about the alternator on the Gen 6 Camry.
