  1. 60K Kluger with no possible I-pod connection. This would hurt. Do you have the part number for the component that lexus supplies for $799? Luckily, I have a Kenwood aftermarket DVD/GPS unit, i ended up getting the Kenwood Ipod connector and plugging it to the CD changer. Cost me about $60.
  2. Hopefully they give you a Loan car aswell.. Apart from the rear damage, If there are any other scratches, see if the smash repairer can pull a few stings and fix those for free :)
  3. This is a really handy Website for DIY car Audio installtion.....
  4. 5-10mm shouldnt make any difference, you wont be able to tell the difference from 1 CM. Are all 4 tyres correctly pumped up to the same PSI? do you have the same size and brand tyres on all 4 corners?
  5. First thing id do is take the car to the dealer and get it checked. If the gears are dropping when the speedo drops to 0 km then its probably something to do with the sensors or when the transmission. Usually when the Overdrive light flashes its got to do with the Transmission/Gearbox Get it checked before it ends up costing you thousands :(
  6. Ah ok, thats sounds right. I do kinda recall the 01/02 Ascents having 14"s. Atleast 15's are now available as stock..
  7. Ah ok, If thats the case here are the results. (185/65 is ok 185/60 would be a defect)
  8. I thought all the ZZE's had 15 inch wheels?(as the smallest) my AE112 has 175/65/R14. Sure they arnt 15's? LOL
  9. That sounds right, Most likely the Filter or Injectors would be on top of the list
  10. HID's are the way to go, one you use HID's you will never go back to halogens. With pricing,It depends where u get them from, can vary from $120-$250..
  11. My personal opinion would be (where possible) to get it from anywhere in Australia rather then looking overseas. saves alot of hassle :)
  12. I'd Dispute this in court, This is total bull. Im pretty sure your friend will win. 195/60/R15 is what these cars come as stock. Legally you should be able to go 2 inchs high in Diameter and 1 inch extra in width without a defect. So 215/40/R17 is the max Before your friend disputes this, get him to type out a letter, take it to a Toyota Service Centre and get it signed and Stamped Edit: Sorry, I Just relised, he has the wrong tyre size. he should have 205/50/R16. :( Click here to see the RTA regulations
  13. Far out. Sorry to hear about the car mate, atleast your ok thats the main thing... I know how i would feel :( Dont Worry, The Insurance should sort it out for you.
  14. That does not sound right with the wheels locking, Everything else is correct though. Next time the cars due for a service you might want to bring that up.
  15. Your absolutley correct mate. Theres always a loophole though. If one of the drivers are drunk the insurance company dont want to know about it. Hit and run like u said. The person who caused the accident blaimed it on the other party.
  16. I agree, Toyota in general use Stick on Badges. :)
  17. Hopefully it has Audi LED Day/Night lights aswell :)
  18. If he is giving you the car for free then go for it :) The inspection would cost approx $100 so thats not too bad to find out all the faults (if any)with the vehicle. Plus the car is 20 yrs old so its still a good idea to get it done. If you do decide not to go ahead with this car and after a Camry, i normally tell people to get 94+ Camry's 9 (Cant remember the model) as they are still pretty cheap and still fairly reliable :)
  19. Congratz on the purchase mate.... I still have my AE112,, they are nice cars..
  20. You will need to get it resealed. Best thing to do is take it to a Sunroof dealer or even places like Windscreen Obrien and they should be able to put a sealant in for you. Theres a few places in Sydney that i know of but it all depends where you are.....
  21. Great work. I didnt relise it is such a hassle removing the rear bumper...
