im shopping around 4 a 1din dvd/cd/mp3/ipod ready head unit that doesnt have region coding for the dvd. i checked JVC and seems theirs only plays region 4 or dvds that can be played in all regions, and 2 be honest id rather hear from people who have already gone 2 the trouble of finding it and buying it and have no problems recommending it. so yea if you can include price and where you found it as well that would be great. jase

personally im not really satisfied with the designs that have come up thus far.... the only pics ive seen that have made me think WOW are the corolla meet pics! ive only ever been to 1 meet back in july... took some pics but since it was at night, my camera settings were off and the pics came up blurry. it seems 2 me that if you want to get people 2 join our club, why not show a professional looking pic from one of our meets? example : sorry blue_rolla 4 using your pic but i needed 2 demonstrate my point

went with my mate 2 check out an FTO he was interested in buyin n when we were checking out the engine, the salesman came up 2 us proclaiming with hands pointing to the engine "THIS IS THE WORLDS FASTEST CAR!........" then he paused... we were like WTF?! then he finished his sentence... "for 6cyl".. thought he was kinda inflating the description of the car but yea. nice car :P

umm.. THATS FINE SOUNDS PRETTY DAMN FAIR 2 ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if im driving with my wife and my babyboy sitting in the back in a 60zone, the last thing i expect or want 2 see is someone driving 110 down the lane next 2 me! its 1 thing 2 modify your car so its lower, lighter, faster etc. whateva, but theres gotta be an appropriate time and place for showing off n speeding at 110km! besides thinkin bout the copz catching you n the fines youll have to pay, PLEASE consider that there are other drivers on the road that want to get home in 1 piece! i aint hating you, but what you did just was some irresponsable sh!t n now you got 6 months to think bout that.

yea i think ull be alright with the power window wiring... but yea, the indicator wiring sounds heaps long so yea i think if you connect those to the indicators positive +negative wires, then youre set. as 4 changing the bulb, theres always a way round those things, just gotta think.. could the mirror be removed 2 expose the back of the light bullb? the lense of the lightbulb might have a little spot where you could possible open it if you stuck a coin or a flat screwdriver into it? i dunno i havent taken a look just taking a guess

No wiring instructions man...D to I to the Y >_<;; dats fcukd man! but yea it shouldnt be any different to the time i installed the LED windshield water spray thingys on my bundera. made them blink just like my indicators. but the wires on those nozzles were heaps long they reached all the way to the indicators on the headlights. connected them just as i described in my last reply. HOW LONG ARE THE WIRES IN THE REAR VIEW MIRRORS?

spotted this black corolla TTR goin east on the great western highway from werrington tafe down to st.marys today sometime round 5pm. nice chrome rimz, lowered, black altezzas. lucky i rememberd 2 use my camerafone! anyone know this guy?

wait theres no directions on how 2 connect the wires???? im assuming you had to run wires down to the closest indicator and splice the wire & twist n solder em together... if that makes sense. the wiring is included is it not?!

the only time ive heard of a speeding fine being overturned is when it was caught on a speed camera. member of my family was caught speeding but they managed to get out of a fine due to their great driving record - 18 years driving experience & no previous fines, no loss of points etc. considering you are hanging on your last points, and theres no camera to prove you were speeding or otherwise, its your word against the police officers! it dont look good mate.. whether its unfair or not is hard 2 say.. but yea, seems obvious that if you didnt accelerate the way you did b4 he pulled you over, then he probebly wouldnt have noticed you at all! really wish u the best of luck with the appeal.. can only imagine how hard itll be if i couldnt drive for that long.

yo danz! found what i was looking 4! thanx 4 heading me down the right direction. i was waitin 4 my thai fried rice n deep fried tofu at my local thai resteraunt when i was reading 1 of their autosalon magazinez... found the TEIN EDFC advertisment and saved the website on my fone. and YES!! they make these suspension kits to fit our corollas! they also do aussie spec supra & soarer jap spec corolla ZZE112, echo, mr2, IS200/300 just wat i was looking 4... coiloverz with adjustable height and damper + electronic damping force controller (EDFC) adjustable height controller would have been an added bonus.. oh well.. 1 can only wish sounds pretty good quality... wait waIT Wait i have a red light flashing in my car but its nowhere near the stereo.. you can see it on the right side of the steering wheel close to the drivers side window. i dont have a car alarm so does that have anything to do with the code? if not then whatz that light doin in my car?!!?

WOWW.... so thats what the engine looks like under that shell! just by taking the cover off, it looks like you modified the engine muahahaha! do you need special tools to remove that cover? i wanted 2 take a look under it but been too lazy to take a close look n see how its actually attached. how much did your oil catch tank cost btw map81? looks like a nice fit... how did you fix it into that position? obviously something is holding it in place to keep it jumping round. do you need to remove that engine cover in order to connect the tank? are you able to refit the cover once the pipes for the tank are in place?
