Is the accent's window handle (the non power) normally there? Is it possible there doing this because its quicker and covers the hole?

yeh actually now thinking about it, it does seem they did exactly that ... however.. i remember in our old holden, they had a small circular cover thing, that covered the hole for the manual winder? so i don't think they really need to change the whole door panel ?

would probebly cost more if they had 2 replace your original parts for more stockish parts.

i think toyota did what they could in this situation.

it may be dissapointing, but youre definately not ripped off. if it doesnt work, thats 1 thing. but if you went out and intentionally bought a car that didnt have rear power windows in the first place, (perhaps 2 save a few bucks?) then im not suprised the rear power window upgrade looks aftermarket.

if i were you, i would have complained as soon as i picked up the car... no wait. i just would have avoided buying a car that didnt have rear power windows as standard in the first place.

i guess you can either live with it, or try 2 buy oem parts from the wreckers to make it look like it came standard with the car which means more $$$ spent, or trade in again for a corolla that came with the rear power windows as stock.

I'm posting this speaker question here in case i get flamed and be told to use the search function of the forum. I have used the search and I cannot find anything regarding the front speaker size and pre-existing hole, in a 1992 rolla (stock stereo). I also searched as to where the best spot would be to fit rear speakers in as well. It's a hatch so i don't exactly want to cut into the board so I was thinking the rear doors is this possible?? I don't have any central locking or power windows.

I have my eye on getting two sets of Jaycar 5" response precisions kevlar coaxial 's and attaching them to an old Pioneer deck. But just wanted some advice on whether they'd fit into the pre-existing holes under the dash for the fronts and where to place the rears as mentioned above.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

this dude has 4inch jbls for the front speakers... not sure if thats the same size as stock, but if u are thinking bout putting 5" in there, you might want to crack open your door panel to see it up close 2 see if you can replace it directly without using spacers no your door panels.

they got all the paint, and sell the equipment and they are pretty good with advice on painting 2 if u wanna do this DIY.

Danz put speakers in the back like that but only very small ones for SQ.

Seriously I've seen this about 5 times before, members make a post just like yours, then two weeks down the track they just end up putting the speakers in the rear doors and be done with it. Easy option and OEM appearance, simple and neat.

what size speakers fit the back doors? and the front for that matter? 6" or 4" ?

and then someone on the forum threw up a used K&N panel filter up as a freebee!

it was black and dusty... i dindt have the cleaning kit at the time but i bunged in anyway and i did feel an immediate difference in sound when i accelerated.

ive cleaned it once... im not terribly worried that any excess oil will be sucked in.. since the instructions tell you how to do it right so you dont stuff it up!

drench the filter in oil, of course youre going to ***** up something.

the ebay 1 has 4 plugs on it... the tv tuner ive been looking at only has one female plug for it. is that what the booster is for?

dont the antenna come with teh booster? or did you buy it separately?

yea mish i know what you mean with the hidden antenna. its got a booster so the it can make the signal stronger.

i dont think of it so much as a rice thing. if you are only watching movies or deal or no deal while you are driving then yea its rice, but i was thinking of being able to watch the news updates on channel 10 news in the car if im stuck in traffic. not so much rice, more like another way 2 see if im going to be stuck.

so tv is no good while you drive? youd have to park it to watch it?

been to autobarn and saw the more standard looking foggies in either round or rectangle shaped ones..

and then theres the types that you can get on ebay.. japanese foggiez.

which are the ones to avoid, which should do the job?
