  1. @JAZE55 picked up the weathershields from Bill.

Let me know when you wanna pick it up.

@Bill, thanks for dropping the weathershields off, and more importantly giving me a ride in your car.... first time ive ever experienced LIFT.... damn awesome!!! :D (Your car is HOT!!)

Knew i shoulda bought a Sportivo instead of the Conquest <_<

Rev'ed my car a bit harder than i usually do on the way home.... its just not the same. :(

  2. go straight to the top!

go for it.. whats the worst they can do? have a laugh at the office? if i was in the market for a ute, but didnt really need anything big - i would get that corolla ute for sure.. imagine that with a sportivo kit...

can someone have a crack at it with a sportivo body kit? or even a C-one kit *drools* ... omg or even the bomex kit... ill need a tissue for that...

would be even funnier if it actually went into mass production! :D

Never know the peeps at toyota might actually like it

  3. oh no! :( thats terrible!!

i came across some weapon scratches just above my rear left wheel... someone else has done a hit and run... and then the other day i scraped a bush as i was reversing out of my garage... another scratch...

there's scratches EVERYwhere on my car, and only one has been from me! i've been run in to 3 times now, none enough to dent, just enough to scratch...

I'VE ONLY BEEN DRIVING FOR 10 MONTHS!!!

minor scratches such as ones from tree branches and bush can be fixed up easily.

I use Mothers Scratch remover, followed by Megauirs Canuba Wax.

Worked a charm on my mates black euro after his missus sideswiped some bushes (though she denies it :P), didnt work so well on my car as they were scratches cause mine were intentional scratches from some ppl.

  4. Thats awesome nek no probz i would relly appreciate it mate. Sorry if this is a dumb Question but Whats M-F ?

Monday to Friday. LOL. Meaning i aint there Saturday and Sunday.

Anyone else need me to pick there one up from Xoom (if they arent going to the cruise)?

Planning on picking it up tonight (provided that bill is free).

I work in the Liverpool area, and live in the Canterbury area.

  5. Its all gud no hurry, if worst comes to worst just pick em up next monthly meet. But i wouldnt mind gettn them ealrier :P :P Mayb we can org a mini meet the next sat comn up haha :lol::lol:

hey jaze, if i can pick them off bill (might just drive up when to blacktown when i get a chance), do you want me to pick your ones up?

I work in Liverpool (M-F, 9 to 6), so if you want you can come pick them up off me at work in Macquarie St Plaza (where all the banks are).

  6. But in my case it luckily didn't get through to the metal so no rust etc yet and i've gotten over it. So now it's being choosy about parking next to columns etc to reduce that risk ;-)

Im the same as you, i always look for a pole to park next to now to reduce the risk, yet i find the more space you give some ppl the more they take and still manage to hit your car!

Ive counted about 5 minor dents, one of them being very obvious, i wish i could like hit these ppl up for $100 each time they do that (cos thats how much it costs to fix each of these bloody dents with the paintless dent removal - personally ive just given up, as long as paint is fine im just gonna live with it, probably cos i know as soon as i get it fixed, some knob will dent it again.

  7. Guess theres good and bad points for each side.

Good is that if ppl wanna offload their stuff for cheap then it benefits us

Bad point is that we have no history on them and whether or not they can be trusted (which is why in these cases you should stick with a pickup + cash option instead).

Overclockers.com.au have a 90 day membership before the trading forum comes up, so maybe a reduced length like 30 days would be a good idea.

Other things i would like to suggest is to stop these PM bids.

I think it should be a level playing ground, ie list an item, ppl bid for it, no PM bids should be allowed.

When the price satisfies the seller, the seller should place a notice saying "closing in 12-24 hours, if your bid isnt beaten then its yours"

This gives a chance for others to offer a counter bid if they really want that item, rather than make a bid via PM, then get told its sold right after.

  8. [Hey all

Will give all the visors to Bill (aka Xoom) off the forums.

Nek - can u EFT me the funds pls. And you organise between urselves who will pick up what. and post it on here so Bill knows who to give the visors to.

Sorry guys but i think this is easiest as im out of sydney end of the week.

Will drop the visors off with Bill tomorrow.

    Thanks guys

No worries. Funds have been transferred! ($60)

    Where does Xoom live?

  9. :angry::angry::angry:

Bloody idiots... seems like it's happening everywhere these days no matter how protective we are of our cars.

I'm getting the entire 4 panels of the side of my car being resprayed after being keyed on 3 panels - it's costing $1550 all up. They need to do the whole side of the car as apparently it's a bitch to match metallic paint up.

Not always, dark metallic colours can be easy to match up.

You cant even tell that my bumper scratches has been repainted.

Dennis, sorry to hear what happened, i reckon that should cost ya $100 to fix though.

  10. Haha hav to be faster guyz

Hirola - if I give you a few visors for people in your area would you be able to distribute in your area?

Otherwise I can try to organise a meet on Anzac Day some place central like the city or Epping Shell

Yea thats cool. Whatever is easier for everyone.

Hirola what area you located in?

If its easier for me I might pick them up off too (if its not too much hassle for you) and ill pay Romp via Internet banking.

    Thanks!

  11. brrr...now im confuse...heheh well im not in sydney unfortunately....hmmm....well i guess i should try either one of them. well thanks for your help guys!!appreciate it hehe

Thats why you pick up the phone book at work and call as many spray painters/panel beaters as possible.

Eventually you will get one thats honest and charge you a fair price. (I had ppl quote me $100 to get my grill painted, i eventually found a place that would paint it for $20!)

Probably take you longer to attempt a DIY than to make some phone calls.
