LOL Only registered driver on the vehicle is me, I even took my mum off, cos she made a claim about 2 years ago on her car.... which actually affected the cost of my premium. I did a quote with GIO, with my exact details, except i said I had no insurance... $590 as well.

im over 25. Just realised why the original renewal is higher than last year... the Medical levy for children. :) Still its rather silly of NRMA to quote me higher on a renewal notice, when its cheaper for me the cancel and reissue.

Got my NRMA CTP renewal today. Looked at it and it said $590.61! Thats more than what i paid for it last year. Now the funny thing is that if i do an online quote on the NRMA website I get different prices. Price Variation #1 = If I dont hold my comprehensive insurance with NRMA it cost $441 Price Variation #2 = If I do hold my comprehensive insurance with NRMA (which I do) it costs $329. WTF is wrong with NRMA and sending me a renewal notice for $590? <_< Does anyone else find the same thing is happening to them?

No you dont. If you can walk away, then do so. How will you end up with a bad rep? Because you walked away from some idiot? You end up with a bad rep by engaging in that idiot. People only taunt you if you react. If you dont react they wont bother cos theres no point to them. You show signs of weakness by reacting and engaging with the idiot. You feel the need to answer back because you feel that if you dont it is weak. In essence the fear of having someone "think you are weak" is a sign of weakness in itself. Sorry i would have to disagree. A true fighter walks away, they only fight when there is no other way out. If you can turn around and keep moving, then that is a way out. Your friends are the true fighters cos they stop you in getting into sh!t. A gangsta is one that is involved in organised crime, they do not necessarily have to fight themselves, they have wannabe gangstas aka d!ckheads who do their bidding for them. A d!ckhead is someone who starts trouble and intimidates others because they are a coward themselves and do not have the strength to face the truth that there are people out there who are better than them, hence they use intimidation to show their "prowlness" One who responds to a d!ckhead is on the same level of them because they chose to lower themselves to that level. The problem with the retaliation is that it doesnt stop until someone ends up severely injured (or in the worse case scenario dead). The need to be the "winner" and "pride" is what keeps this vicious circle going. No one wins, because everyone who walks away still loses something.

My upload speeds max out at about 110~115k. Its amazing how fast bittorrent goes when you set your up to 100kb :D Thats it BITS not bytes. I just did the test and got 10041kbits download and 842kbps upload... divide those figures by 8, to get bytes. Works out to be 1255kb download and 105kb upload... Ive download faster and uploaded faster that :P I average 400kbytes per second on the popular TV shows from US. Love it.... too bad i go through 30Gb so quickly and get capped at 128k :(

I've walked pass guys who suddenly yell "you got a problem wtf you looking at"... and i wasnt even looking at them... its almost like they got something to prove... especially being in a group. And while you and your mates arent the type to start sh!t, there are other guys that do. Problem is that they are doing the same thing you guys are initially do, just hanging out. Now im not defending the cops actions, but they believe in prevention being the best cure, so that means stereotyping and moving everyone along who looks like they "may" cause trouble. It sucks, but thats the way it is. Just learn to accept it and move along. You dont own a hangout spot. Its a public place, so its not OUR's / YOUR's its everybodies. The only place you can truly call your hang out spot is your own home (and thats after you finished paying off the bank :P). But seriously, i do find groups of young males intimidating (especially when im walking by myself). I just look away and continue walking. But usually doesnt take much to set them off. (eg Having a glance at them and have them yell something back). Could simply be a case that the person may have had a bad day, and have decided to chill out in a public area, with their mates. Some looks at them (and they interpret in the wrong way) and they try to start a fight. As for hanging out, its called loitering, and it is illegal to loiter (maybe your group doesnt start sh!t, but others do), and when you're in a group then you get treated the same. Im sure if were you and a chick doing the same thing the cops would leave you alone. The bigger the group, the more testosterone there is.... the more chance of a fight erupting.

true, but i think its more a case of your own safety when it comes to using spacers. I mean if you wheel was meant to have that offset then it would have been made with that offset.... i personally dont like the idea using something plastic to support something metal. interesting how the topic changes.... I was at Croydon Park maccas last thursday night getting something eat at around 10:30pm, and theres all these ppl just hanging in the car park. So cops come around and tell them to move on, what do they do 1. Start mocking them 2. Crowd around them 3. Call more friends to come around maccas to crowd around them. Seriously, what is this crap. What is so hard about driving off? Why not go to a park and hang out there, you can even go to bunnings, go hang out in an area where you wont get in people's way. Is it really that hard? While i understand the concept of show respect and respect will be shown back, it is a 2 way street. You do not need to be shown respect first before you can respect another human being. LOL :P Go ask Corzza for his opinion, he had a Levin to start off with, then he went and traded for a sportivo.
