  9. No worries mate :) I did my P's test at a place under James Ruse Drive behind Parramatta speedway...... from memory i think it was called Stay Upright too: http://www.stayupright.com.au/index.htm
  10. Hey Jase, Congrats on decding to get your bike licence! Stay upright! Not sure what state your in, but this is generally what happens in NSW (has been some time since i did mine though :P) Pre-Learners course is a 2day affair. Day 1 is learning bike controls, mount/dismount, head checks etc and basically pushing the bikes about. Day 2 you actually get to start them and ride up to second gear, learn about cornering etc..... There is parts of theory mixed in as well. All in all, its prettty darn easy and if you fail this, maybe you should consider sticking to being a cager Most places will have hire bikes for you to use. These can range from Dirt Bikes, CB250's through to auto scooters..... I did mine at H.A.R.T in St. Ives... pretty awesome all in all. Good luck if you go for them anyways :D
  11. Dunno if it will fit or not....... But based on a look at the eBay linky, id steer clear. Looks to me like the seller got a hold of one from a wreck and modded it himself (The clear lens of the light is all scratched and you can see where the black paint has bled under where it was masked off...... Personally id rather buy a legit purpose made product than something 'Doc from Back to the Future whipped up in his garage :P Just my 2cents :)
  12. ..... 'Rolla Depraved :( Hurry up Settlement so i can buy a ZRE :D

  14. Was gonna say to the O.P, your GF may have had a blonde moment and put in the wrong fuel (god only knows how)........ but you sir, have lucked out. Please do what ever it takes to keep your GF as she is clearly the only one youll ever have.............. (Because quiet frankly you should be neutered to stop any further reproduction of such a lack of neurons).
  15. Spotted LFT-247 the past 2 nights in the Visitors parking of my girls building in Parra <img src='http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

Hey all, been keeping my eyes open for another 'rolla so i know whats about when i finally get my cash together and stumbled upon this little item: Carsales.com - 2005 TOYOTA COROLLA ZZE123R 5Y SPORTIVO Oh how i wish i had the funds right now...... (Wasnt sure if i should post this in another lounge/section or not, but seems as i cant afford it right now maybe another member can )
  18. Bit more info here chaps :) http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/otherinformation/weighttax2010.html
  19. u sure u searched ..... use this search as i have found it a bit better than the google search http://au.toyotaowne...e&module=search i just did a search and found this - South Africa? Japan? Is there a way to tell the difference? - http://au.toyotaowne...?showtopic=3837 Yeah found that after i posted, thanks.
  20. Hi all, Looking around for another Rolla (want a manual again.... getting lazy in the Auto :P ) and im wondering if theres a easy way to tell the difference from looking at the compliance plate? (i did a quick search already but must not be entering the right terms as i couldnt find a definitive answer...) Thanks! :)
  21. The linked SMH article is a little ambiguous..... "The cameras can be covertly operated by civilian contractors working from unmarked cars parked by the side of the road." Then further down............... "The Herald says it also understands that cars operating the units will be marked." Am now thinking i may not buy myself a new motorbike after all........... normally hit 100 by the time i realise what im doing...... then its all 'eeeek!
  22. I don't get it? Oh hai :) Well it was because he was driving like what the sticker to the left of the number plate almost spells out..... Bit of a location joke i guess :P
