  1. While an upgrade is good it still doesnt give you the "Anti Lock" feature. Great in a Panic stop situation.
  2. Is a set Left and Right side (Front Only) ? Cheers
  3. That is slammed ! Or does it just llok like it because it's jacked up at the rear ?
  4. How do you order them from Japan ? Please tell me !

  6. Usually people relocate them to the Boot. It the easiest place to put them.
  7. MX5 1st Gen ! Might cost around $9-$10K but you'll never wipe the smile off your face ! Most fun you can have with your clothes on :D
  8. Both 1ZZ and 2ZZ have Chain. Chains do stretch and the guides wear out. Then they rattle and get noisy. Ask any Datsun 1600/180B/200B/Bluebird + Magna/Sigma owner. Personally I prefer belts a la 4AG/3SG etc.
  9. Love the aerial : where did you get + how much ? BTW how does the Rolla go against the MR2 (On a closed track obviously) ?
  10. Toyota Hub Rings are 58mm from memory. You need to talk to the Manufacturer/Supplier of your wheels. The Centre Bore is different for different brands of wheels. check out this : article on hub rings
  11. What did you expect ? It's a FORD <_< :( :o
  12. Car was definitely locked. What I've heard is that they buy a wrecked model and take the Immobiliser and key from that and swap it into the "new" car, then swap over the VIN numbers from the wreck to the "new" car. Also known as rebirthing. The stolen car takes the identity of the wrecked car.
  13. Hi, Just a warning to all Camry Owners, my sister had her 2003 Camry Sportivo 4 cylinder stolen from her driveway on the Lower North Shore of Sydney about 2 weeks ago in the evening. I would never expect an Automatic 4 cylinder Camry to get stolen but it did. Rear Windscreen smashed to gain entry. Be alert ! Cheers.
  14. Zee, My guess is it's your wheels. Do you still have your stock wheels+tyres ? Try putting them on and going for a drive. PS: did you get your package in the post ? Cheers.
  15. Australia's No.1 selling car last month, there were over 5000 sold Australia wide, outsold the Commodore ! Not surprising they are so common.
  16. Same as in a manual Gearbox. It means the output shaft of the Gearbox is turning faster than the Crankshaft (or input shaft of the Gearbox) In the first 3 gears (lowest gears) of the auto 'box the crankshaft is turning faster than the output shaft. Most manual boxes are overdriven in 5th or 5th and 6th if you have a 6 speed.
  17. Show us a piccy or 2. I don't quite follow what you've done. Cheers !
  18. Unscrews like a normal Right Hand thread bolt. :)
  19. No, improves the 0-100km/h time as they are lighter. :D :) + they look better !
  20. Are you sure they are Genuine ? Most of the other stuff he sells looks cheap and nasty. edit: Recaros for $500/pair ???? Read some of the feedback before buying.
  21. Do you mean DBA ? Disc Brakes Australia Never heard of RDA !
  22. Try Repco/Auto 1/Super cheap etc. Theres a big place at West Gosford on the Pacific Hwy opposite McDonalds. Gives you +20kph on your top speed ! :D :) :P
  23. 1.) Is this normal when you lower your car on King Low Springs? YES 2.) Has anyone else has this kind of offset??? YES 3.) Is it better to have it that way? (Better for cornering?) YES Rear wheels have no adjustment for Toe In or Camber, so to get a 4 wheel alignment is a waste of money. Camber will change slightly as more weight is put on rear of car or lowered. Stock they have slight negative camber which is supposed to be better for handling. Camber,Toe In/Out and Caster Explained.
  24. 2nd that Bob, :D Personally I use Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 (Full Synthetic) and buy a filter from Toyota. Nice 30 minute job ! As earlier 10W-30 is the recommended viscosity. Any reputable brand will be OK. The main thing is to change it regularly (6months/10,000km at least)
