  1. Still rubbing your guards at the front pippy? rofl ;) Pics on the 20th please! Get polishing Brenndan :P
  2. Dude...thanks heaps ;) These seem to be more in my range and will give me the ride/looks that I'm after. I'll see where I am though when it comes to the 57S, but these look pretty good. haven't seen anyone else running these either. thanks again man JDM yO!
  3. Thanks Wei Wei! Those buddyclub P1 racing sf's look nice in gunmetal. Not too expensive either ($1280?!). And it's still JDM yO! Any comments on these ones?

    About Redliner

No probs man. Oh look, John Howard's just...ghey I dunno. I don't like him. He can't even talk properly, he's like some sort of robot :S
  5. Got back from the new gf's @ 12. Not too bad. Doubly tired though heh...
  6. This is stupid. Drifting is about 'control'. People do not understand that. If a car loses traction 90% of the time a P plater won't know what to do and panic. It's amazing how the young 'drift punks' (who keep the drifitng OFF the street and on the track) don't encounter as many accidents, because they know control. Control/Discipline (body rike stone, mind rike meatloaf)...something which the local government up there obviously does not understand. Well, they'd better prepare for illegal drift meets then. They've brought it on themselves.
  7. Awwwwesome news... Well done Sunny ;)
  8. They are a strange size...17x7.5 (banGn runs this), but I'm inclinded to ask for 17x7 if possible. I'll be asking Brian again what he has in terms of profile, I think it's 215/45 which is perfect for 17x7.5 I think With 17x7, I think it is better to get 205/45 or 215/40 instead. Everyone who has 215/45 said it hits the guard. (according to the research i did B) ) Brian is so low it's not funny. He has a different offset which doesn't rub I think. He is running 215/45 I've gone onto ozhonda sheldon and I'll see if I can grab some second hand from there ;) good prices too. one set went for $900 last I looked :o Few more on there going for $1500, $1200 etc.

    hey guys

There would be a fair few. Contact silvabullit or Northy man.
  10. Would be interested at what prices they quote u dude ;) By the looks the Gram Light 57s are $2099, and the Pro's are $3199 :o Wei Wei has told us to check out the traders area on ozhonda.com so I shall go a hunting on there ;)
  11. Apologies but what are the motor mounts - and what is the exact nature of the DIY mode. Anything that I can do myself I will do. They are at the very base of the motor. Not too sure how easy/hard they are to get to as I haven't bothered to do it yet (i'm waiting till I have an HD clutch). I'd pm Danz/Northy/banGn and ask them. Northy has done this I'm sure, Danz and banGn not too sure, but they are wonderboys when it comes to knowhow and DIY.
  12. I would manipulate it and make myself martyr...
  13. Fo sho... Just get it done @ your toyota service center. I'll admit this is one thing they know how to do fairly well (or at least my guys do). clutch will set you back $600 I think, and the motor mounts are just strengthened with gasket glue believe it or not lol, tis a DIY mod.
  14. Totally understand man. If you ever wanted to do it for $40 yourself at least you know it's not that hard. I always thought painting stuff was
  15. Mobile number given lol The other guys tried to get me fat...didn't work though haha (already a bit pudgy on the sides as is rofl)
  16. On the gearboxes/clucthes how do you get these right so as to thrash the bugger and enjoy the drive. Mine crunches in third - its only got ~5k on the clock as well! It's a fine art. Took me 20,000k's before I finally 'learnt' the gearbox and can now land lift on every shift without crunching. That clutch adjustment sure helped. 1st to 2nd is still shaky, nothing a HD clutch will fix in the long run though. Clutch adjustment is paramount on the stock clutch. It needs to be brought up more so as to compress the flywheel in more on application @ high revs. Hm...the adjustment + HD clutch + strengthening the motor mounts = total bliss when shifting @ high revs. There's no 'fighting' to shift, pretty cool.

  18. Chhheeers sheldon ;) Those rims looked ace last nite btw
  19. Damn you Brian! Stop making your car sexy. I keep coming back in here...
  20. So easy to do yourself man to be honest. I know I would. Autobahn can match your paint for you and give it to you in a spray can. It's just a matter of prepping the mudflap before having it sprayed. I know people who have done this with their eyelids as well.
  21. That is correct. Pedestrians have right of way. Unless they are John Howard, then you are permitted to run them over.........twice.
  22. I personally can get the service done very very cheap by my godfather @ his workshop in Sydney. Every 2nd time I go up to Sydney for the meets they have I'll get it serviced through him now. At least I know I can trust him...unlike Toyota.
