  1. that's interesting...hmm cheers dylan ;)
  2. The cosworth equipped ones are running 10's 11's :o :o :o These are 2.0L SOHC Pintos that are running 13's. Insane. Methinks it's all engine, driveline and weight reduction work. I was very suprised Dylan. Very. I'll try and find something on them.
  3. I agree man. The twin tip is gigantic though...and that's the one I was looking at. It's huge!!! Might be droney though. Time to turn the Smashing Pumpkins up in the car a bit more I think haha.

    WINGTIPS

No pics yet man...but it closely resembles a prawn cracker crossed with a badgers tail. I guess I kinda lied about it looking like the c-one one. Meerkat wingtips yO

    ROAD RAGE

That's why I always hit the security locks inside the car man. People call me paranoid? Hah...maybe, but sh!t like that does happen (especially when your psycho ex won't leave you alone)
  6. I badly want the LSD in my escort. 2.0L Pinto powered escort like mine ran a 13.3 over the 1/4 recently in england. Actually they all run that be interested to see what those pommies are putting into their n/a motors. Fecking insane.
  7. Brian - "You got yoko's b!tch........" Me - "Heh...yeah...heh...:S" Not too sure what I'll get next time yet. lol. godfather is a bridgestone dealer so yeah...

    WINGTIPS

I made my wingtips out of paper meche and coated it in araldyte. Strong as, can't tell the difference between c-one and these ones. $5 to make.
  9. I'd love to hear you say that in my face! WOOOAAA SNAPPED BRANDON! rofl
  10. AHHH! HE SAID THE 'P' WORD!! lol George I'll ask Vince my godfathers son. I trust him with the life of my car (he's doing my install up @ liverpool now @ their workshop). I'll talk to you on msn more about it.
  11. He is? rofl that's pretty funny actually hahahaha Ok ok ok Steve...tell your friend that there's a debadged silver 'Levin' in melbourne with a sportivo kit, cf bonnet, 17's, low as that want's to race him. Come on...it'll only be a '1zz' man. GTS-t should be able to beat a '1zz'.
  12. Noooo nooooo Steve Steve CHILL... Dylan is cool. He's like...the sydney crew's 'dad' figure man. He gets worried that people are going to be stupid and kill themselves that's all.
  13. Weren't you the one that said all these old skylines are 'tired'? I've had a stab at my fair share and they all came of second best, bar one which was modded to the high heaven (another mate of mine). 14.4 1/4 mile times in stock form when? back in 1993? understandable. Now? doubtful. Dylan no one said anything about street racing it's cool lol. EDIT: Jase not having a stab @ you...I'm in an 'aggressive' mood tonight and it is reflecting in my typing (female problems)
  14. That's because the guys from wheels magazine: 1) Don't know how to drive our cars, or any VTEC for that matter and use the power band provided 2) Had photography equipment stacked in the back while doing the tests 3) Are in general, dumb preening tools So if he wants to read a magazine made by dumb preening tools then let him lol
  15. They are a strange size...17x7.5 (banGn runs this), but I'm inclinded to ask for 17x7 if possible. I'll be asking Brian again what he has in terms of profile, I think it's 215/45 which is perfect for 17x7.5 I think With 17x7, I think it is better to get 205/45 or 215/40 instead. Everyone who has 215/45 said it hits the guard. (according to the research i did B) ) Brian is so low it's not funny. He has a different offset which doesn't rub I think. He is running 215/45 I've gone onto ozhonda sheldon and I'll see if I can grab some second hand from there ;) good prices too. one set went for $900 last I looked :o Few more on there going for $1500, $1200 etc. Really? That sounds very very good Anything did you find matchs your taste? B) Well, so far man I've been looking at the buddyclub P1 sf's in gunmetal or white. Thing is, I'm still obsessed with the Gram Lights man. I'm just going to save I think hahaha.
  16. They let him win Steve. Calm down. I've already raced my mate in his R32 GTS-t and he's running an aftermarket intercooler, engine back system and turbo. I pulled 3 car lengths on him and shutdown @ 120km/h. The GT4 let him win. Why waste boost. The 300ZX let him win. Why waste boost lol. It's a stock R33 GTS-t. That says enough for me. So Steve, the question you must ask yourself is, why bother? ;)
  17. Soon McPhil...sooooooon :P
  18. Oh well Steve, back to paying 1.50 a litre though...better get used to it again rofl. Let's cripple John Howard...and Bush
  19. Hm...I'd say the coilovers would weigh much less. My D2's aren't in yet so I just picked one up in my room with two fingers around the coil. That's lighter than the existing suspension housing i'd say?
  20. Not too expensive Sheldon... Yokohama a.drives are in 215/40 and are $250 ea I think...(the ones I'm already running, which are very good, but promise to be awesome in 215/40 on a 17in rim with less sidewall flex etc). Toyo Proxes also have a wide range in 215/40 as well. Bridgestone have nothing in the 215/40 range for the Potenza's unfortunatley. I understand my speedo will be put out a little as a result, but ultimately this seems to be the better profile for handling w. 17's, but it's only marginal.
  21. when you do 100km/h you'll be doing 102.5km/h with 225/45/R17 you'll have sidewall deflection also, plus the cornering ability won't be as good I think. It's comfy fair enough, but yeech...I wouln't do it. When I grab 17's I'm getting 215/40.
  22. 17 with a sportivo?????? JEEBUS! Can I have money please?
