  1. I enquired about green stuffs, but the guy reccomended green stuffs on the front but blacks on the back for street use since the rears take longer to warm up (10% braking etc). My mate use to have commodore with these pads and had to use the hand brake to get in/out car parks till they warmed up on the road. Not sure if its the same with rollas.
  2. Hmm does any1 know a fibre glasser that can make us up a batch. The name Freddy comes to mind. I reckon around 150 bux is the right price, $300 is too much. Is any1 interested in getting a few made up? I can make some enquiries. But yeah i also agree they are getting a little too common.
  3. Ah so u finnaly got a root :) Removed that shrink wrapping eh
  4. Hmm im getting my rear skirt which needs painting neway, so should I get C1 wing tips which can get painted at the same time. They are just bloddy expensive for what they are and you lose the the seek roof slump at the back. So whatya reckon?
  5. Maybe u can fit the 2zz plenum on it, are they a simular dimensions?
  6. Wow i had to read that 3 times, thanx for that. I think the muffler sits on these rubber hanger connectors. I think i'll just get longer ones so i dont have to modify the hangers of the muffler. crap i just remebered that mufller tip just scrapes as i get out of the work driveway (im dumped). If i extend it or lower it its jsut gonna make it worse. May need just a dump pipe. I hope the skirt doesnt scrape.
  7. Mine doesnt sit flush cuz the CAI pushes the light up alittle bit, while the filter pushes the the foglight (and the bumber down). End up with a small gap.
  8. Jeff1018, howd u lower the exhaust, did you get the hangers modified or did u bend something.
  9. So need some opinions. Getting the rear skirt for my Stivo this week (as well as specialised32). But cant decide if I should cut a whole in the skirt for the muffler or go the dump pipe option. Whatya guys recokon, ive seen alot of hack job muffler cuts but havent seen any dump pipes, so pics will be appreciated.
  10. I had this problem the the CES intake, so bought TRD and had no problems.
  11. I know what hes taking about. They are in front of the wheels. Im not sure what they are for, maybe they have them there cuz of the front skirt to close off the gap underneath.
  12. Spotted awsome looking facelift Silver Stivo lowered, wheels in boronia.
  13. I just used a drill bit just under the size of the stud, then drilled. No damage to the wheel. The wheel nut is stuffed i'll post a pic later.
  14. Here is the stud when i drilled it out, it was pretty cheap fix, so for those who may have the same problem id save the hastle and just drill it.
  15. Ive got an inverted type wheel nut with a round whole now with nowhere to grip since its mostly resesed. chisel and hammer dont work and reverse threaded high tensile nuts just strip or shear the bolt. I cut a section out of the nut to get leverage but ive broken 2 massive scredrivers, plyers and some drill bits. I thought about welding but id prob flake the finish off the alloy from the heat. For 6 bux, i think im gonna drill out the stud.
  16. i didnt do it, some1 tried to nick em a couple of months ago but they didnt have the right tool to get em off and stripped it.
  17. Aftermarket wheels so they arent gonna touch it. The drill option is my only resort, i think im gonna cry.
  18. Long story short, i have a stripped wheel nut, cant get my wheels off, 3 tyre joints couldnt do it. Did everything I could think of possible, so i have to drill out one of the hub bolts (2005 Corolla Stivo). Now I just want know if i can remove and replace the hub bolts seperatley on a corolla seperately or do i need a whole new front axle hub bolt assembly.
  19. Hey last week i noticed my rolla revs to 8200rpm in neutral and it has the stock ecu with CAI as the only mod, what do reckon is wrong there.
  20. yuk dont go chrome, here is a pic of a black with shadow coloured wheels, it looks much better without the rapstar bling. I wish my Rolla looked thatgood, y did i get white.
  21. Does any1 know where do u get those discs from?
  22. If it loks crap try cover it with the carbon fibre look vinyls
  23. You can generally get this featue installed with aftermarket car alarms.
