Hi guys, just letting you know I'm currently writing a thesis on modelling and simulating a hybrid electric vehicle. I'll post most resources and stuff here as I obtain them :)

i guess you could just fit your amp on the opposite side, if you are running one sub!

I wouldn't mind running a sub on each side... but where to put the amp (elegantly)? ← I was doing a few drawings when we first got the sportivo and there is enough room in the floor to mount them with what looks to be not alot of trouble or behing the back seats which will mean you'll loose about 3 inchs or so. Havent had time to have a play but when im finished i'll let you know :) ← is there room directly above the spare wheel, but mounted on the liftable wooden floor?

it's interference from the cables I guess with me, when I listen to AM, everytime I hit the brakes, it buzzes like crazy at what seems to be double the volume (very loud)

so everyone here has 7500/8000k? everyone happy? I think i might just go for it... can't decide between 8000k (more blue) and 6000k (more white)

i ended up going to my own mechanic... $70 for "full inspection" and changing my oil and filter which I supplied He was convinced that my corolla didn't need any other fluid change.

I would put mine on the rear right window (the little that you can't wind down)

I jsut rang up Genesis (www.genesisracing.com.au) they said that all I need is a minor service. -- I said "hi i need to get a service for my 02 toyota corolla, i need to get all the fluids changed" he says "how many k's you done?" "50,000km" "you dont need all your fluids changed mate, what does it say in your log book?" "it says change oil and oil filter, inspect brakes, fluids, etc." "yeah that's right mate, you don't need it, but dont worry, we'll inspect everything for ya just to make sure" -- I think I'll take it into them just so they can inspect it, for a peace of mind. I normally change the oil myself, but I don't really know what else to look for. Any comments?

I've done almost 49000km. My log book says to just change filter/oil, and inspect a few things like brakes, battery, etc. All my fluids are at an acceptable limit, should I change them though?

bump anyone else got HID recently? Looks like I'll be getting 8000k H7's cos I'm helping a mate out by buying his, cos he bought the wrong one. I'm going to try my luck to get 6000k's though 6000k because from wht I have seen, it's closer to the colour of daylight, hence will appear brighter. but if I end up with the 8000k, ah wellz! :)
