For those of you who missed out... haha! go so many stories to tell, but I'm too tired, so I'll tell them tomororw! We had 31 cars at one stage or another of our cruise, thanks to those who came. my photos can be found here: http://www.exclusive-auto.org/gallery/05gorJL/ There one bit where it was 3 corollas + IS200 + other random corolla's crusing around the twisties... lots of fun! Hope to see you guys next time!

  4. this is gold! i hardly understand what's going on though lol
  5. eye of the storm alright: http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR022.loop.shtml i was thinking about the CAI thing this morning... if I had CAI I would've been owned in 4 different sections of the road today no joke :(
  6. i'm just adding to the statistics here... my dealer said any mods I have would void the warranty of that particular section unless, it's a sportivo accessory, that was fitted by any toyota dealer (ie sportivo springs, etc.) anything else, including TRD, is a no no I'm 3 months past my warranty already, the urge to mod has worn off (phew, i have money in my bank still! hehe)
  7. i've uploaded some photos from the pre-cruise: http://www.exclusive-auto.org/forum/viewto...p?p=57854#57854
  8. i gave my mum $350 to put away in a safe place... so i can afford to buy the game and the GT Force 540 degree steering wheel when it comes out she better not spend it.....
  9. after a bit of hard work, this is the accord on the lowest settings: http://ank.shafted.com.au/Cougar/exclusive...tn_IMG_5774.htm
  10. my friend has had his accord euro since the first day it came out in australia... and been modding it ever since fyi, he started off with eibach springs just in time for 2003's Melbourne Autosalon (imported). He then moved on to Hot Bit Height Adjustable coilovers, which cost $1800 installed
  11. mm rice.. im hungry A few of us just did a test run of the route we will be taking this Sunday... and it is AWESOME! Plenty of twisties, plenty of fun! Let's just hope the weather stays good till then! :) :)
  12. aahhh mad wog! :) We're meeting at Todd Road so might be easier if you just meet us there? Pending on how many west side boys are going, we may organise a west-side premeet! I will keep you informed buddy. Thanks guys, look forward to seeing ya'll there. Where is Pecker these days?
  13. Sorry, they're definetely different springs, if you compare the ride height of my car as well and the suspension stiffness to that of the Sportivo and you'll see the difference. If they were the same, my car would look like a monster truck ← Same goes with Kcorro's car... put my stock levin next to his sedan with sportivo springs... mine's a 4x4! :P
  14. Hey Melb people, For those of you who want to take on the twisties of the Great Ocean Road, my car club (Exclusive) is organising an annual G.O.R. cruise on the 6th Feb (Sunday). This would be the 4th year we are running it, and it's been really successful each year so far. Let me know if you're interested in going. You'll meet some new people! Some of you have been to Exclusive events before so you know what it's like. The club is Japanese-car oriented, with a hint of Euro. And the purpose of the club is for people to meet each other who share the same interests in cars. Details here: http://www.exclusive-auto.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3813
  15. hey there, I live in Geelong (next door to Avalon airport), so we can meet up and go down to melb together if you'd like :)
  16. I have the SAME SUB as you lol... in my 2002 Toyota Corolla Levin. I place against the seat. The amp is mounted to the sub box, and the amp does not touch the back seat (else it'd overheat) If i want to access the spare wheel, the lid would lift up as usual, since the sub box is on the other end, so there is no problem there. However, having the sub in means hardly any boot space, darn that corolla hatch back boot! My sub box can easily be removed by unpluging a few things, and unclipping the mount of the sub (30 second job)
  17. sorry i noob. hehe. I'm ready to get front strut tower bar and rear stabiliser bar fitted, but dont know where to go. you are saying i can't get rear strut via whiteline, what other brands do you recommend? Also, where do you suggest I go to get these parts? hmm might have to pay Typhoon Motorsports a visit, but they seem to be quite dear.
  18. alright im ready to get me a front and rear struts... perhaps whiteline? does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should go? I'm in Melbourne (Glen waverley) on weekends, and Geelong during the week. thanks :) And another question, with adjustable damper rate shocks, can all 4 be adjusted without removing the wheels? or is that dependent on what I get?
  19. mmm time for me to pick up a set as well can you give us more info on where you got it as well I'm in the Glen Waverley (Melb) area thanks :)
