I have been quoted by Central Car Radio, Melbourne, $350 for an "alarm upgrade" installed, which includes a alarm loud speaker and shock sensor (and maybe a few other core components to make it work) I drive a Corolla with immob. and remote central locking as stock

yeah i've been looking up car audio stuff lately (procrastinating during me exam periods) and realise that when it comes to the more expensive gear, better get someone who really knows what they are doing to do it

i believe this "water bottle" you speak of is the resonator. It reduces the induction sound (to meet standards), but at the same time, it restricts some of the airflow. when it is removed, you will find that your induction noise is much more obvious, especially at the lower revs.

I have a 1ZZ-FE as well... i'm currently contemplating suspesion modifications instead of engine modifications. So for the same price as lowered springs, full exhaust system and intake, I'm leaning towards a full suspension set up. anyone know how much more power you gain from your breathing mods for 1ZZ-FE?

yeah but his boot is like 10 times larger than the newer model corolla hatch I've got a single 12" sub with a standard box, with amp mounted onto the back of it. It's "secured" using "instrustrial strength" valcro's, so i can remove it when I need the boot space. As for the spare, I can lift up the compartment with the sub still there

i like how those reviews are for a NA car (a car with "lift" like you sportivo cars) The question with the drilled box + momo, does that make it legal in australia?

so interms of handling, your $1750 will handle better than say, Tein adjustable's which are $2500 rrp? i like the sound of your package, only prob is that it is not height adjustable

I drive a totally stock car mate I go along to all these events though some not very nice people look down on me cos I have a 02 Corolla Levin instead of a '90 S13 Silvia with $10k of rice mods... sorry.. having a rant haha I'm just saying, you dont have to have a modified cars to go to these sort of events. It's all about meeting people and having a good time :)

you've now inspired me to install mine I've had a shift light for about 2 years now, just sits in my glove box I dont have it on because it blinds me... absolute blinder! got any tips on reducing the intensity of the light?
