just did a search on ebay and found this...wonder if these are the right ones for the face lift models?
and led halo ones as well
Those are for the sedan, not for the hatchback zre facelift.
-
They are expensive as all heck. Although the facelift ZRE doesn't need shrouds, they still need the fitting brackets. And the cost of the lamp + bracket (each side) is insane.. I'm hoping that some third-party companies release some aftermarket foglights sometime soon. I want my foggies, but I also don't wanna flush hundreds of dollars down the toilet.
EDIT: btw, here's the fitting instructions for the facelift zre (part num: PZ457-E9518-00)..

Hello anyone could let me know if i could find any DIY guide for Zre pre facelift for fog lights installation?
Thanks in advance
for pre-wired pre-facelift: http://www.toyota-tech.eu/legacy/Toy/aimuploads/%7BE3AEDA8A-FD5F-16F6-E9D4-2B46B243FD5F%7D/Front%20fog%20lamps%20pre-wired%20PZ457-E9516-00%20AIM%20000%20735-0.pdf

ah okay. yeah i've done my wheels and gotten myself some weather shields. next step is to lower, get my self some foggies and a nice kit :D
Nice nice - any pics? :D
Foggies are expensive (from the prices I've gotten from Le Mans Footscray)!
I got weathershields/visors coming too - $85 is a bargain (eventhough they're not genuine Toyota, they look really nice).
Thinking of getting these for my black rolla:
(King Wheels, INTUNE Ice Black BLUE).
I reckon they look pretty sweet, but does anyone have any experience with this particular brand of wheels?
-
So i've gotten a quote back from Le Mans Toyota Spare Parts in Footscray:
- MUDGUARD,SIDE $320 <-- this is what they supposedly refer to the side skirt as??
-> comes painted already, and price is for one side so double the price for both sides.
-> two side skirts = $640
- SPOILER, FRONT, $180
-> to get this painted approx $200, and price is also for one side so double the price for both sides.
-> two sides for the front spoiler, painted, approx = $560
*N.B. I don't know why the front lip comes in 2 pieces??
All up about 1.2k and these prices exclude installation.
Anyone know anywhere else I could source these from?
lol nah don't trust that le mans in footscray. they are just rip offs. My best mate works there and he tells me how they jack up prices like crazy.
lol my mate has a couple of friends there so I got the prices through them - wondering if they'd be able to cut me a deal. Or do you reckon I could try Melb City Toyota, seeing as I just bought my car from them? lol. Either way, I think I'm gonna stick with just getting the lip first, and concentrate my moolah on new wheels and lowering :)

Here is the link.

I'll post pics when I've gotten mine and installed them. These will be the first addition (apart from the floor mats lol) to my brand spankin new 'rolla

hey guys, just wondering if the installation of front lip and side skirts to an ascent hatch facelift would be an easy DIY? I'm assuming all that's involved is double sided taping and screwing in the lip/skirts? (Are there already holes precut in the front bumper and sides for this or do we drill our own holes in?) Just wondering because I'm trying to source sideskirts/front lip from a toyota dealer and thinking it will be cheaper if I install by myself? Cheers.

I was thinking of grabbing these ones: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Weathershield-window-visors-Toyota-Corolla-hatch-07-11-/280670191843?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item41593f40e3
(couldn't really justify myself paying $200AUD for the genuine toyota ones)
Does anyone have any experience with these ones? Quality / looks wise.
Here's what they look like on the Kluger: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Toyota-weathershield-window-visor-fits-Kluger-2008-2011-/270739862474?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f095a73ca
To me they don't look too bad actually - look to have an "OEM" type look to them.
Some feedback would be greatly appreciated before I make my purchase :) Cheers.
EDIT: lol I couldn't resist - was a bargain price of $85 so went ahead and bought them. Guess I'll learn by experience, on how good they look and how the quality is. However, I believe these are the same shields that the-converter mentioned he purchased and seems to speak highly of them.

Here it is again but this time with the facelift bar and plenty of gloss black paint, engine cover(diesel for those who don't know)mirrors, rear bar panel, grilles and foggy shrouds... I love it:toast:
one word, DOPE!
-
The black one is on here somewhere, the one with dual giant cannons on the rear
different pics of this TRD beauty, still want one but $#%& I hate yellow
Damn that black one is sick.
The facelift is hot too; pitty about the colour, and not really a fan of that spoiler :/

digging up a slightly old thread here - anyone have any luck with aftermarket foglights for the facelift rolla? Thinking of getting some put in to my 2011 rolla but not sure which ones I need, or where to get them. Would places like Autobarn/Repco etc stock them? Or would anyone know where in Melbourne I can get them done? Wanting to somewhat, get started on sprucing up my new car. Cheers guys.

thanks guys :D

Thanks man :)
Will start a thread in the member's rides section as soon as I've got something non-standard to show lol.

so I finally picked up my Rolla today. Actually ended up being a 2011 model rather than 2010 (as I previously thought).. such a sweet ride. Love the look of the facelift model with the sleek lines on the front. In metallic black it's sexy as all hell - now I just need to start saving for mods and whatnot. Think I may get some foggies put in tomorrow and maybe get tinting done soon. Does anyone know what the legal % is for tinting (for both front and rear)? Wheels + lowering will come in the near future :) All I can say is that I'm so glad I bought this car. I've been intoxicated by new car smell all afternoon.

The Injen comes with very straight forward instructions, full pics for each step. All kits are pretty much the same, except SRI (Short Ram Intakes) dont require removal of the front bumper.
I think as long as you can operate a socket set and a screwdriver you can install it. Its actually a great first DIY mod. If your still not wanting to do it, i would estimate 1-1.5 hours for a mechanic to do it. Hourly rates vary widely. between $50-170/hour.
Toyota service guys should be able to do it in about 1/2 to 45min, 1 hour tops.
SRI can easily be done in about 15min.. maybe 30 min tops.
Thanks man. I think I'd still be uncomfortable modding it, seeing as it's a brand new car, I wouldn't wanna destroy it and lose the warranty on it.

Haha alright, thanks guys. Only reason I would have thought to do the rims first is because I'm gonna be running on the stock steelies if I don't haha. Unless I do the lowering and rims in one hit :D I was thinking either black rims with the red strip or black with machine/chrome lip and drop it to a "sensible" yet "low enough" height (don't want to be scraping all over speed-bumps lol).
Thats exactly what i've done. i gotten myself some black rims with the red lip. now i just need to lower :D and get myself some foggies.
I shall post some pics up soon so you can see what it'll look like with the black and red.
slick! Your rolla black too? Yeah, I need to get some foggies for my Ascent - cost much to get these installed? And should I get the OEM Toyota foggies or does someone have another suggestion? :)
Can't wait to see the pics :D

Please check our ZRE Corolla thread, that will give you a list of the intakes available for the ZRE series of Corolla's:
Im running Injen and have had no CEL errors in over a year of install B)
Think I'd be to scared to install one of these myself (I'm a complete newb when it comes to car mechanics). Has anyone had one professionally installed before? and if so, how much are we looking at here and for what particular CAI? cheers guys. Looking forward to putting some meaty sound no homo, to my new car sometime soon :)

Farrrr you guys have some seriously sick looking Rolla's. I just got myself a brand new 2010 Ascent (facelift) in Ink (black) the other day, picking it up later this week. Can't wait to start the modding. Just wanted to know everyone's opinion as to what would be best to start modding first if I have about 2K to start my modding? It's pretty much going to be complete standard when I pick it up. I'm thinking about chucking on some 18" rims and dropping the sucker a few inches first. Wouldn't mind giving the car a bit more grunt too. Upgrade exhaust?
