  1. Just wanted to know how many here. I'll start the list and we just copy and add as we go. 1. Aem - 2007 (NSW, Sydney)
  2. Not sure why this isn't dark, but it's the same looking only it's like 5% tint dark like the other pic.
  3. I installed the jdm type the other day and like you said it good for rainy days. The oem one i didn't like cos it leaves the silver rim on the window frame which i'm not a fan of. As for tint i prolly won't do it.
  4. Thanks privtate number. 35mm is roughly 1.4". Is it an even drop front and rear or should the front need a little more drop than the rear? the picture is kinda hard to see. According to RTA rules you can't go more than 50mm, BUT the current requirement of lowring cars is you need to get an engineering certicate (no matter how low the drop). Could you say it was like that when you bought it cos the rule take into effect from 2009 ? From the link, i recon Tein S-Tech SKC52-AUB00 drop 1.6"/1.5" will suit best.
  5. He's got coils so that's out of the question (too pricey). Might look for springs only, Teins tend to be lower than eibach so i might think about Teins. Anyone else with camry lowered on springs?
  6. Oops i meant to say "now on my mind". I guess the other thing is you don't see many modded camries so it just look weird. I*'m noy going to mod my car, just getting it lowered i think. Any advices on what to get and how much lowered?
  7. Lowering is not on my mind but i'm thinking it's a Camry!!! I'm not tall so i have everything to gain from a low car but yeh, it's a camry would it look odd? Those who have lowered, please convince me (with pics if possible).
  8. All cars do this, i'm sure it's called auto-choke.
  9. Does anyone have this issue on their car? It's sounds like 'gup' when you take off, i'm thinking it's coming from the seatbelt adjuster somewhere (or might even be the boot) but definately on the driver side..damn annoying when it's right next to the ear.
  10. Much to my amazement, i top it up with shell 95 RON and the meter showing way less than 10L/100km. 8.5-9.0 is think which was meant to be for 2009+ model not 2007 but hey i'm not complaining.
  11. So who's down for a groupbuy? I don't mind getting a meetup happenning to get this installed (everyone man for himself that is).
  12. Oh wait you are in QLD, i need installation anyone in Sydney can do it?
  13. Price difference between the two would be good for now Steven. Thanks.
  14. For me i calc things. GPS - $150-200 (tomtom) Reverse sensor - $100 (?? but does no visual) Ipod connectivity - say $100 (not sure how though) So basically i would spend $400 on those seperately. SQ is pretty important but how does it compare to stock radio SQ i have at the moment on the 6 speakers sportivo? I'll settle for 7" for the 256MB unit but do they one so not to overspend. the main thing i wanted the aftermarket unit is as mention before 1) GPS - used only when required and this could be once in a long while. 2) Reverse Cam - used very frequently! 3) Ipod/USB connectiviy - used frequently but not everyday depending on who drives the car. Sound SQ needs to be same or better than the stock radio unit. Steven is there a cheaper 7" 256MB unit, and i will need it to be installed cos i can't do it.
  15. What's SQ? I'm buying the unit for GPS,Reverse Camera, Ipod connectivity more than hearing/watching DVDs. By the sound of things the GPS software is not as good as your normal Tomtom or Garmin but does it do the job?
  16. That makes perfect sense, no need for multiple DVD usage when you can use USB. So everything works well, no sound degradations through speakers, Radio tuning, GPS works, and also reverse Camera? Are there any negative points about it?
  17. Thanks for the response grelise. Did you install it yourself of paid for their service, if so how much is the installation fee? Btw, you can only use 1 DVD at a time right, cos the oem deck has 6 CD changer.
  18. Anyone know if this is anygood? http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=8.0%27+HD+GPS+DVD+TV+IPOD+BLUETOOTH+TOYOTA+CAMRY%2FAURION&_sacat=See-All-Categories
  19. Have you tried using 95 RON cos the type of fuel can help.
  20. So i decided to test use E10 and found so far the guage L/100km goes wild. the consumption is around 12.3L/100kms whereas on 95RON it's 10.3L/100kms. I will after this tank use 95RON.

    2012 Camry

I'm drooling all over this new Camry!!!! More power, more torque, 4 yr warranty (happy with 3), BIG change in interior now alot classier ... no more boring camry!
  22. Is this switch supposedly is part of the ECU, and which is tuned for performance/fuel consumption. If so the sportivo will drink cos it is tuned for perormance over a normal camry. Y/N?
