I consider myself to drive like a granny but that's not the point. Fuel cost at the pump is what it is regardless of E10 or PULP. If over a fortnight a car consumes 30 bucks of fuel and another 100 bucks why would you think the first car isn't a better car (fuel economy wise) than the second?.

I think it's very relevant. No one likes their cars to thirst for fuel especially with the high fuel prices. My next car will be a hybrid.

The problem with aftermarket foglights is that they don't look good, and are hard to fit without cutting/screwing your bumper not to mention the wiring. If you really like to have it i'd try and see if you can get oem one from wreckers and go from there. DRL on a camry won't suit. Btw, why didn't you get model with foglights eg Sportivo in the first place if it's one of the things you like to have?

What does the L/100km reading say? I still can't understand why my car reading after attaining 11.3L/100km remain so no matter where i drive and how i drive.

I don't understand the S-mode, if the ACV40 auto is 5 speed, why is there only D-4?

I don't understand the combine Kws. How did they calculate this? I drove the current Hybrid (not the new one) and could feel it to be 140Kws, if anything it felt weaker than normal 117Kws Camrys.

I get irregular readings, it differs with every fill ups. At the moment it's 10.9L but last week it's more. My car is a late 2007 model.

For me buying my camry was a choice made with the fact that it was going to be a secondary car for us (a shopping, park at station etc car). If it's going to be same for you, you might want to consider that also. You might save a few 1000s on bying a camry over an aurion but if you're not going to need an aurion than why buy it? As for what camry, i'd settled for a 2009+ model and not brand new. You can save $$$ by bying a 2-3 years old car which you can still be happy with. Sportivo with it's bodykit, sports seats will stand out so go for that.

What about heads of state of oil-rich African countries who get chauffeur driven everywhere? Sure, they may be a minority group, but let's not discriminate, okay. They also don't buy Camrys. They do, gold coloured ones.

Those dudes don't buy cars based on anything, they buy cars purely because it costs over several millions.

Silver on silver. For racer type cars than maybe black but not a Camry.

Sadly when the car takes off, the only sound that can be heard is the clunk sound. I would rate the annoyance pretty high, 8 out of 10 on par with say cracked CV joints when turning or constant brake squeaking.

My dad's AT-x also has the noise although it's not as loud. Martinj, what about insulations, you got any suggestions?
