  1. great website Dan... here's a good article to use as a guide... http://www.tprmag.com/issue/1/1_intakes.shtml will we have someone do the analysis and write up for out little test.
  2. They look pretty much identical to G-Force coils, that's why I thought they were the same as the ones Influx has
  3. from reading the other threads the Cuscos that everyone raves about are 7kg front 5kg rear... but correct me if I'm wrong. Jase - that sounds like it would be great for the track with a not too firm ride on the street (not as firm as D2s) but let me know how it goes... I'm also interested in these coil overs
  4. They look like the ones Influx has... by all accounts they aren't too bad, but no idea how they compare in ride to others though. His looks awesome with them in though ;)
  5. I've seen a face lift model (silver) running around with Euro plates, seen it a couple of times driving into the uni.
  6. Oh man, I'm definately planning on getting out of town on Anzac day then... <_< <_< <_< <_< <_<
  7. Instant defect for it hanging below the stone shield. Also can't be very secure there. A better idea is to run the ducting to behind the fog light provision. This can be done by guiding it down behind the passanger side headlight. And also remove the standard hosing to do this ;)
  8. it was only started 3 days ago... there have been no other B-day's on the calender since Craig's (Danthyer)
  9. someone who already has an ApexiPFC to tune them properly would be a fair bet...
  10. this one I like... scissor door overlapping the rear spoiler is an interesting feature though :P
  11. Wheels come off a front right and have been put on the front and rear left. plus they are too small. Pod is tiny also... but the colour and gaffics is good
  12. I know that whenever I drive on a dirt road the A/C smells like dust fo weeks after because we don't have one of those bloodt filters installed...
  13. I wont be able to make this one guys, have a wedding the day before. Curious as to the comment above though, I was born and lived in the area (Far Northern NSW) for most of my life, and I have never had major traffic issues in Byron on a long weekend, excluding new years (Used to spend almost every weekend there actually, long weekend or not). I suppose I should be used to the negativity on this forum by now . . . . . . That would explain it then. I drove through just after New Years and it was bumper to Bumper in and out. We just wanted to go to the headland and it turned into a 2 1/2 hour excursion. But if it is OK on other long weekends then that's all good. :) I was just worried you guys would spend half the journey there sitting in traffic.
  14. hmmmmm Byron Bay on a long weekend good luck!!!
  15. different CAI's cope with the 3' to 2.75' problem in different ways TRD has a bent elbow with a gradual reduction Injen was a straight rubber join but the CAI has a bevelled lip so there is no reduction needed on the join AEM has a straight join and the reduction incorporated in that I believe CES is a 3' pipe Shift performance I do not know the join design so I cannot help with that one
  16. it just isn't the Pumpkins without James Iha though...
  17. we need to get this and the Miata forum tyre sizes calculator etc and make it one big calculator sticky :)
  18. noticed Monkey Wrench also have the Apexi PFC on sale at the moment too ;)
  19. If you don't want to spend too much. Bendix Advance are around $80-90 and are plenty good enough street driving, and have low dust too.
